Chapter 52

Harry and I took Hayden and Soph home later that day. We got out of the car and I opened the car door for Harry and as he got out I helped him up.

"Here I'll grab one of them." Harry said as he moved to the backseat door

"I got the them both. I don't want you to put extra pressure on your leg. Why don't you go unlock the front door."

"Sure." He said as he limped up the walkway.

I grabbed Hayden's seat first and then I walked around to the other side of the car to grab Soph. I had each of their seats in one hand as I made my way up the walk. Harry was waiting for me at the door and when I got up next to him he unlocked the door and pushed it open. I waited for him to go in first and when he stepped in the house I followed.

A moment later the lights turned on and I saw Liam, Niall and Zayn in the foyer and above them they hung a sign that said 'Welcome Home Tomlinson’s!!". 

I laughed to myself thinking about how cute the boys were as I walked into the house. I could see Harry smile as he went to hug all of them.

When I got further into the foyer of the house I placed the babies carriers down and went to hug Zayn.

"You really are one of the best mates anyone could ever ask for." I said as I hugged him tightly.

"Of course Lou." 

I could feel him smile against my neck as he hugged me.

"What do you guys think?" Niall asked Harry and I with a wide smile on his.

"Guys this is awesome, thanks." Harry said to the boys with a smile on his face.

"So we got you two, well not you guys but the babies something." Liam said as he walked into the living room.

He came back into the foyer with two mechanical baby rockers. One was pink and the other blue.

"Li this is awesome thank you!" I said as I set the carriers down and moved to hug him.

He patted my back as I hugged him and when I let go he had a wide smile.

"We also bought you guys dinner! It's in the kitchen!" Niall said excitedly.

Harry and I laughed as we saw Niall about to jump out of his shoes. The boys started moving towards the kitchen and as I moved to pick up the babies Harry reached for them too.

"I got it babe, you can go into the kitchen with the boys." I said to Harry.

He looked down and nodded at me before limping away. I looked down at the carriers and saw that both of them were sleeping. I smiled to myself before picking up the carriers and taking them into the living room to put them in the mechanical rockers that Liam had got them.

I started unbuckling Hayden first from his seat and when I did he made some uncomfortable noise. He started squirming and it looked like he was about to cry. As quickly as I could I moved him from his carrier to the rocker and once I had him strapped in his whimpers died down. I moved to get Soph in the rocker and she wasn't a problem. Once I had her strapped in I put both of the rockers on and it started swaying them as they slept. I smiled to myself as I looked at my kids in their sleeping forms before walking into the kitchen.

I walked into the kitchen and saw the food the boys had ordered, and I made myself a plate. I could hear them talking in the dining room and I walked in to them chatting away. I took a seat next to Harry on one side of the table. Liam and Zayn were across from us and Niall was at the head of the table.

"They all set?" Harry asked me.

"Yeah they're all good." I said smiling at him.

The boys and I ate our dinners and chatted away. I thought it would've been different because Harry and I now had the kids but nothing had really changed. The only thing that did change was knowing that there were two babies sleeping in the other room.
