Chapter 9:

Sams Pov)

It had been two days of no killing. The public thought we were long gone. Idiots. We all wore our other change of clothes. I wore military pants. That hung low on my hips exposing my hips and my lower stomach. I wore black military boots. My top was an army green tight shirt. Along with my old black
Hoodie.

I had made a sheath using a belt and some ties to hold my sledge hammers securely in place when we ran or snuck around. I had been watching through the glass with the sniper scope adjusting its range once in awhile.

Heather washed our old change of clothes. She had tied her hair into a high pony tail. Her mask was off and her wounds were almost perfectly healed. All but her pale eye. She still was keen sighted though which was strange since she was blind in one of her eyes.

She wore black cargo pants black military boots. She had a holster on her thigh for her knife and her axe hung in one of the sheaths that I had made for her. She wore an orange tank top with a red sleeveless hoodie. The hood was black.

She had her gloves tucked into her back pocket. April was hanging the clothes to dry. She wore a purple plain long sleeves shirt. Her pants were just normal black jeans. Along with black boots. Her shovel was on her holstered on her back. Her hair was shaved on one side of her head. The other was long and her bangs were swept to the side.

Which brings me to Heather's mask. Since it was cut down vertically it allowed people I see her face. So she had sewn a black clothe into the broken seams. Cutting off the lower half of her face.

While it exposed her pale grey eye. I wondered about that eye. It was as if it was just simple grey. Like she could see, fine. But it was unlikely. Turning my attention back to look out I quickly pulled away. "Heather, April, man investigating the theatre." The man walked the perimeter sizing up the place.

"What does he look like?" Heather asked climbing quickly up beside me followed by April rushing off to the next look out post. "He looks like a detective." April turned to us. "Shit!" Heather swore. "Okay..." She said calmly looking around the theatre. "It's to dark for him to see above himself." I whispered to Heather as we crouched/walked across the beams. "Unless he has a flashlight." April added coming beside Heather. "We have taken care of all the stuff just let everything happen if it does."

Heather said quietly. "What do you mean?! Just let him catch us!!" April hissed loudly. Just them the door opened giving a loud creak. We all quickly put out masks on. Hoods up and our weapons close by. April climbed up the notches we made and handles to be able to survive these things. April used her strength to hold herself flat on the ceiling of the theatre.

Heather was holding herself close to the beam hanging onto it. I was glued to the wall.

Detective Ryan's Pov)

I had decided to do my own instigation on the theatre. Once I arrived the atmosphere of the building seemed restless. Taking in the perimeter and finding it even more intriguing. No lights no nothing just darkness.

Opening the door. The air had shifted into a dangerous feeling.
I was sure they were here. I unbuckled my flashlight from my belt and looked around the theatre. Nothing in the chairs. Nothing on the walls that was when I heard the dripping of some liquid.

Walking over to we're the dripping was coming from and looking up.
Seeing a clothes line and the clothes dripping from the water.

Heather's Pov)
We watched holding our breath. My plan would work. I would be able to take out the detective. I knew he would check the most suspicious place and what better than an abandoned theatre. I just didn't know when or how he would do it. However he decided on being alone.
