"You seem to be progressing well with your recovery. Perhaps you didn't break your legs, maybe just a sprain?"
Yoongi's tone of voice was jovial and content. Taehyung was the complete opposite.
He had been attending these sessions for a week now, and every time he had been asked the same question over and over: why are you upset?
Taehyung wasn't even upset. He was only upset when Yoongi made him upset, and that was often, so much he wanted to stab him at times. Unfortunately he had no means to do so, and his mother was forcing him to enroll in school again to 'broaden his career'. What bullshit.
And now again, Yoongi was asking him the same question in his study. It was dusty in here, and it made Taehyung upset.
"Why are you upset, Taehyung?"
Yoongi was wearing a suit today. It fit well on him, but Taehyung wondered why he had to wear a coat indoors. It was boiling in the study, because the sun had been shining through the windows all day. That made Taehyung upset too.
"Why do you fucking think?"
The room was dusty and too hot. Say that Taehyung. Don't just stare at the clock and count the 21 minutes 34 seconds you have left of this session.
Yoongi looked at him over the rim of his glasses. He was otherwise occupied by his notepaper, but was now eyeing Taehyung from his chair a metre away. He had to be careful Taehyung wouldn't lash out.
"Excuse me?"
Taehyung burned with guilt.
"What." He choked out.
"That wasn't very polite now, was it? Would you like to answer again, nicely this time?"
His voice had a commanding tone to it, yet it was as soft as the fuzz on the peaches in the fruit bowl. Taehyung felt compelled to answer again.
"No. I don't want to. I want to leave."
Taehyung burned holes into the carpet. Why won't he just get up and walk out, like he usually does? Why does he want to stay?
