"Sorry we're late Mrs. Wheeler, Erin was uh," Erin's mom paused. "Taking forever." She smiled and nodded, stepping into the Wheeler home.

"Oh no, Mrs. Johnson you're fine." Karen smiled.

After the Johnsons piled in, and sat down for dinner, they all began taking.

"In August Erin you'll attend Hawkins High as a what?" Karen asked, before chewing onto some chicken.

"Freshman." Erin smiled.

"Oh just like Mike," Karen smiled, turning towards Mike who, who turned towards El. "So Erin, tell me about your sister." The words sister made Erin choke on her salad.

"My," She coughed. "Sister? She's uh nice I guess? I don't exactly remember."

"Erin was kidnapped before Cassidy was too. And then Erin comes home, Cassidy is gone." Erin's mom explained.

"Jeez mom go ahead tell my whole life story." Erin said, with a sarcastic tone.

"And she has this strange number tattoo on her arm. She claims she has no idea where it came from, but I think she got it on purpose." Erin's mom added on. By telling everyone this, it made Eleven and Mike choke on their food, and Nancy coughed.

"A number?" Nancy croaked, swallowing quickly.

"The number three." Erin's mom nodded.

"Mom can you please stop telling my life story?" Erin turned towards Mike and Eleven, who were still recovering from choking, looking at them strangely. "Thanks." There was a pause of everyone eating their food.

"Mike can you show Erin around the basement after dinner? I'm assuming she's going to be around here all summer." Karen smiled, looking at Eleven and Mike. Mike rolled his eyes. "Mike we have talked about this. Please don't roll your eyes at me."

Everyone continued eating their meal in silence, awkwardly.

"This is really good Chicken Mrs. Wheeler," Steve smiled, eating his chicken stick. Nancy lightly wacked him. "What?"

--

"This is the basement," Mike stated, walking down the stairs. "That's where Eleven sleeps, don't touch it."

"Understood." Erin looked around the basement.

"This is where we play DnD. I'm a paladin." Mike stated.

"I'm a mage, but I usually play it at the arcade." Erin nodded.

"El's the mage." Mike turned stone cold.

"Cool? We could team up if we play the board game version, not really the arcade because that one is a single player." Erin shrugged.

"There can only be one mage." Mike stated.

"Okay then I can watch. I'm good at observing," Erin stepped around, feeling something stab the underside of her foot. She winced, picking up the piece from beneath her foot, and placed it on the table. "Sorry I stepped on your demogorgan."

"What powers do you have?" Eleven bluntly asked.

"Excuse me?" Erin questioned, Eleven reached for her arm, but Erin pulled away.

"She means the number, where'd you get it from?" Mike stepped forward.

"From when I was kidnapped. Can you please don't ever touch me again?" Erin stepped backwards.

"Where?" Eleven asked.

"I'm leaving." Erin nodded, inching towards the stairs.

"Not until you tell us where you were kidnapped." Mike stepped in front of her.

"No." Erin narrowed her eyebrows.

As a last resort, Eleven looked at Mike, touching her own arm. Mike shook his head quickly, noticing what El was doing. Eleven turned back to Erin. Erin looked between the two, confused. Eleven pulled up her sleeve, revealing 011.

"You're Eleven?" Erin exclaimed, shocked.
