Chapter 4
I selected my character, baby
Rosalina, and Dan chose Yoshi. We
first chose Mario Circuit.
3.....2.....1.....go!
I dashed to the question mark and
got a red shell, which I immediately
threw at Dan and hit him.
"You little twat!" Dan called out
trying to catch back up to me.
We finished the race, I in 1st and
Dan in 3rd.
"Oh ya! Daniel James Howell just got
beat by a girl!" I said raising my
hands in the air.
Dan poked my stomach.
"I demand a rematch." He said.
"Fine, but don't cry when I beat you
again!" I laughed.
We played one more time, this time
on Moo Moo Meadows.
Dan hit me with some shells, I hit
him with some bombs.
He beat me in 1st place, and I was in
2nd.
"No! I was sooo close!" I exclaimed.
"Oh Jade Monroe Parker just got
beat by a guy!" Dan said mocking
me.
We were both laughing.
Dan got up and turned off the Wii U.
He sat back down on the couch and
I snuggled up close to him. He put
his hand around my shoulders and
hugged me closer as he flipped
through the channels on their TV.
Phil came back in to get something
to drink. He turned around and saw
us.
"Aww, you both look cute!" Phil said
to us.
"Leave." Dan told him and shot him
a look.
"Alright, alright, I'm going!" Phil said
and put his hands up in surrender as
he walked to his room.
"We do look pretty cute together,
don't ya think?" I asked Dan smiling.
"Of course I do." Dan said and
kissed my forehead.
