Chapter 6
Dan played with my hair as I
continued to sit in his lap.
"Oh shit, I was supposed to do a
Live Show today." Dan said all of a
sudden.
"Oh, I can leave..." I said starting to
get up.
"No! Stay! You can be in the show
with me if you wanna." Dan said
grabbing my waist.
"That'd be fun! But what are your
fans gonna think?"
"I'll just tell them that we're dating
and if they don't like it they can suck
one." Dan assured me.
I laughed at his choice of words.
He held my hand and walked me
over to his iMac. He pulled up
another chair so we could both sit
down.
"So I'm gonna introduce you, and
then we'll answer some of the fans'
questions." Dan explained to me.
"Sounds cool."
Dan hit the play button on YouNow
and began talking.
"Hey guys! So this is Monroe." Dan
pointed at me.
"Hello! I'm Monroe." I waved at the
camera.
Questions already started popping
up. One read:
*Ooh is that your lady friend Dan?*
"Yes, she is my lady friend." We both
started chuckling.
More people starting watching, and
more comments came in. A lot of
people said they'd ship us.
"What's our ship name guys?" Dan
asked. Most people said Danroe.
"Ha, I like Danroe!" I said, smiling at
Dan.
"It's official guys, we are Danroe."
Dan informed the audience.
That's when the comments got
meaner. They started saying things
like
*what about phil?*
*monroe's ugly*
*i don't like them together*
But then I saw one comment that
really hurt.
*dan is wasting his time with her,
she's not good enough for him*
I read it the same time Dan did. Dan
looked at me and could tell I was
hurt.
"Um, I'm gonna go. Bye guys." I told
the camera.
"Wait! Monroe!" Dan called for me.
I ignored him and ran to his room
and sat on his bed, trying to hold
back the tears that were already
breaking free.
