*Lucie's P.O.V*

"Lucie? Lucie?" I stirred before rubbing my eyes before opening them to see a face right in mine.

"Jesus!" I screamed.

"Nope, just me." Dan smirked before scowling and sticking his bottom lip out. "My head hurts." He moaned.

"Too bad, why are you in my hotel room?" I asked, looking to my left to see an empty bed. "Where's Max?"

"I can't remember and I don't know, but I need you to make me food." He fluttered his long lashes, smirking away.

"And why should I do that?"

"Because it's my birthday." He grinned, blowing kisses in my direction. I rolled my eyes and pushed him out of my way. I grabbed my phone and dialed Max's number only to go straight to voice mail.

Nice.

"Let me go to the toilet and then I'll make you pancakes-"

"THANK YOU LUCIE LOU!" He cheered, clapping and then fake crying.

"Only if you go wake everyone else up." I managed to say before I heard the front door slamming shut and then incredibly loud banging through the walls. I smiled to myself as I walked into the bathroom, turning on the light to see a body in my bath.

"What the fuck... Georgie?!" I laughed, turning on the taps to wake her up.

"My dress!" She leaped out, wrapping her arms around my neck. "Bitch." She smiled a little before walking out.

Why the hell is everyone in the wrong rooms?

I heard quite a lot of talking before a massive crash.

Perfect.

I rushed out the bathroom, still wiping my hands on a towel to see a pan on the floor with some people laughing and some clutching their heads or ears.

"Oh hi." I laughed, wiggling my way through to the kitchen and picked the pan up. "Everyone out the kitchen while I make the pancakes." I stated, hearing 'you're the best' and many 'I love you Luc' comments.

I handed out the plates to everyone apart from Max.

Where the hell is he?

"You haven't seen Max, have you?" I directed the question to everyone, only to get shook heads and mumbling. I rang his phone again to go straight to voice mail again. "Dan, your presents are in the blue suitcase, I'm just going to nip down and ask one of the staff about Max." I rushed out, throwing some sandals on to accompany my bed shorts and one of my dad's old rugby shirts that literally just fits, but the sleeves were still nice and baggy. I waddled from the lift to the main desk. "Good morning, I don't suppose you've seen a young guy wondering around with a hangover, do you?" I smiled.

"Well, there's a gentleman outside looking rather upset with a bottle of something but that's it I'm afraid, I'm sorry." The lady smiled gently, as I sighed and said thank you. This gentleman better not be Max.

I walked through the lobby and towards the pool to see the one and only Max Helyer sitting on the edge of the pool, with his legs in the water, drinking a bottle of cheap whiskey.

"It's a bit early for drinking, isn't it?" I joked, sitting next to him.

"Go away." He sulked, shuffling away from me slightly. I felt my mouth hang open as my heart was slowly being crushed.
