A/N: Meet the girlfriends!.. Again! The pictures on the side are the guys with their girlfriends, or were girlfriends. The guys are meant to be on tour with Thirty Seconds To Mars but we'll just ignore that fact! Obviously I don't own the pictures, but enjoy! ... It's more of a filler before the drama starts!

*Josh's P.O.V*
"Lucie's in then?" Dan asked Holly. We were all currently in Holly and Matt's house, sorting through their responses to the party. I held back a shudder when her name was mentioned. I tell myself I'm completely over her, but that's because I am, I mean I left her didn't I? Shouldn't that be enough to convince myself that I don't love her anymore?
Georgie was sat on the floor in between Chris' legs who was sat on the couch. Dan was sat on the other side of the couch with Mackenzie in the middle. Holly and Jade was in front of Georgie with the invitations spread out in front of them. Max and Matt was on the other couch playing 'catch' with Mackenzie, it's a good job they're using a soft ball considering how hard she can throw. And myself? I was sharing the single chair with Abi, who was currently curled up on my knee with her head nested in the crock of my neck.
"Indeed! It's just going to be like old times, just like I loved. The old gang is back together again!" She replied to Dan's question while clapping in excitement. The girls started to talk about old times. It's weird to think that none of us have seen Lucie in 4 years. Well, we all know who's fault that it.
"You're still coming right, Josh?" Jade asked.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world. How come you're asking?" I raised my eyebrow in question. I bet this is about Lucie attending the party now.
"Well, Lucie's coming now and I know you two ended on such bad terms," Told you, "And it's perfectly fine if you don't want to come anymore." She smiled.
"No, Josh is completely over Lucie so it shouldn't be a problem, right Josh?" Abi asked, testing whether her statement was right.
"Yeah, I love you Abs, you know that. Everyone knows that." I kissed her temple as I noticed Max watching me.
"UNCLE MAXY!" Leave it to the 6 year old to brake the awkward atmosphere.
"Don't shout baby. It's not Uncle Maxy's fault that he's a bit slow." We all bit back a laugh but Mackenzie didn't. Apparently Max had hold of the ball and was too busy watching me instead of playing with our niece. It must get lonely for her sometimes, being the only child within our group, but saying that. I could have been a father by now if everything went to plan.
"Sorry Kenzie, I was thinking about Auntie Lucie." Max got up and walked over to her and held out his hands asking for permission. "Want to go exploring for cookies?" She soon accepted his offer, when it comes to food, it's always Max, Matt and Mackenzie. Names beginning with M must be blessed. "As long as it's okay with the Barnes'?"
"Go straight ahead but don't eat all my chocolate chip ones!" Holly shouted as they went running through the door and into the kitchen. We won't see them until they've eaten everything. I'm sure of that.
And you know what else I'm sure about? When I see Lucie again, it's going to break my heart... Just like I broke hers.
I'm a monster, and all because I met Abigail Halliday.

"Right fudgers, I think we better be getting off, don't you agree Mrs Flint?" Dan said looking at Jade. She nodded and removed her head from Holly's shoulder and yawned.
