A/N; So I've only just realised that I fucked up the dates; I put the 20 week scan on the 9th June instead of the 9th July.. So let's just pretend the sex is still unknown. I'm really sorry guys.

*5th July*
We were all packed, not a single trace of us was left in the hotel room. I was back in my flight clothes; the baggy lounge pants, black Converse and the grey hoodie from Max's line, sweating like a pig but the plane should be nice and cool. It should be anyway.
"Here, I'll take that." Max said, taking my suitcases and bags off me, sending me a gentle smile.
"Thanks." I replied, sounding like a monotone robot. We walked to the taxi in silence, feeling his stare on the back of my neck, looking down at my shoes. I waved to everyone before getting in the car, leaving the driver and Max to put the luggage away.
So the lowdown on what's happening with Max and I? Yeah, I'd like to know as well.
Max has apologised so many times, it's just become a meaningless word now. It's okay him saying that he does trust me, he does want a future for us, he does love me but that doesn't stop the doubts in my mind now, let alone his. All we ever do is seem to argue over it once we're alone, we act like a normal, loved up couple to everyone else, but it doesn't stop the punch in my chest every time we do have to pretend that we're fine. It's stupid, we shouldn't have to pretend in front of our best friends, but if we don't? We ruin their holiday.
Max joined me in the back of the car, attempting to hold my hand, before I pulled back, placing them both in my pockets. I heard him sigh, feeling his stare as I looked out the window.
"L-" He started, hearing him shuffling in his seat.
"Don't, Max. I don't want a second argument before we get to the airport." I stated, not moving from my position.
"But it will as long as you keep your guard up like this!" He snapped, causing the driver to sneak a glance at us through his mirror. "You need to talk to me!"
"No I don't. If we talk, we argue, it gets worse-"
"If we leave it, we get worse!" He snapped back, putting a hand on my chin, pulling gently. "I love you, okay?" He leaned forward, seeing my reaction. I kept still, despite constantly telling myself to pull away, telling myself that if he loves you then he would trust you. I closed my eyes at the touch of his lips on mine. It was a simple peck, nothing passionate or steamy, but meaning a lot more. "Please don't end what we've got going on." He whispered, feeling his hot breath on my skin, sending goosebumps to the whole of my body.
"Erm.. We're here." The driver told us, coughing awkwardly, getting out and going to the boot. I blushed, rushing out the door, feeling like a 16 year old that's just been caught by her dad kissing her crush. I left Max to it, walking towards the guys, waiting outside the entrance. Mackenzie came running, lifting her up evently, kissing her cheek noisely.
"I don't want to go." She sulked, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Me neither." I smiled, telling a small white lie. I literally cannot wait to go home, getting back to normal. "Normal seating arrangements again?" I asked, hearing Max finally join us from behind.
"I'm afraid not, Luc. We couldn't get seats like we did on the way here so we're all split up." Dan sulked, pulling Jade closer.
"So who's with who?" I questioned, letting Mackenzie down to sit on our suitcase while Max pulled it.
"You're seated next to Matt and Mackenzie. Holly, Josh and Abi are together. Jade, Georgie and Chris are together. Max and myself are together." He replied, leading us to Starbucks. Of course. Well, at least I'm with someone.
