*Lucie's P.O.V*
"Come on Luc, I'm going to be late for my own party!" Holly shouted from downstairs.
"Aspetta!" I shouted back and instantly hitting my head with my hand. "Sorry! I said hang on!" I heard laughter as I came out my room and stopped just before I reached the top of the stairs.
"We do want to get there before midnight babe!" She shouted. I laughed silently and revealed myself. I started to walk down the stairs, making a noise with each step due to my shoes. They all just stared while Max, of course, wolf whistled.
I went with the figure hugging, black lace dress, due to me being 5ft 7, the dress didn't end just below the knee.. It ended just above the knee. Considering my height already, I didn't really need the black platforms but I couldn't leave them out. My make up was done to perfection; Foundation, concealer, setting powder, slightly filled in eyebrows, mascara, false lashes, winged eye liner and a classic red lip. I had my long, dark red, hair pulled into a messy french plait, going from one side of my head to the other and then continuing down my left side.
"Damn girl.. You're forgiven purely on you looking so fucking hot right now." Holly winked before I stepped off the last step and stood next to Max. We were going in couples apparently and it made sense in Max and I to go together.
"Grazie!" I laughed before I heard little footsteps running straight for me.
"I know that!" Dan proudly stated. "It means 'Thank you'."
"Well done Daniel." I winked and quickly lifted Mackenzie up before she crashed into my legs. "Look at you! You look so cute, I think I might have to steal you." I smiled and hugged her tightly. She was in black skinny jeans, red Converse, a cute Hello Kitty top and a leather jacket; Comfortable and cute.
"You look sexy Auntie Lucie!" Her smile got bigger by the second.
"I agree with you Kenzie!" I caught Josh flinch slightly before looking away. Max gently high fived her but being Dan's daughter, she went full on and caught him off guard. She giggled and apologised.
We made our way to our own cars and of course, Mackenzie wouldn't leave my side so she joined us in Max's car. Max drove and we sat in the back taking pictures together on my phone.
We arrived 10 minutes later and of course, the party was in full swing with the music blaring out from the club they had booked.
"CONGRATULATIONS!" Was shouted as soon as we all walked in, obviously aimed at Holly and Matt. Dan stole Mackenzie off me and dragged everyone to dance while Jade and I got the drinks.
"I tell you what J, there's many things I'm jealous of about you and your life but the main thing?" I stated while she lent against the bar.
"What's that silly?" She laughed. She's always be adamant that my life is better but it's not. It's really not.
"Mackenzie." I turned around to see her giggling away in Dan's arms while he pretending to slow dance with her. I sighed and hung my head back and to the side to be greeted with Jade staring at me.
"I can remember you always saying that you never wanted to have children but the way you look at her, the way you treat her, the way you can't stand to not be with her is all proof that you want a family. A family of your own." She smuggly responded.
"I want my own Dan and Mackenzie.. I'm going to regret this but you're right Jade, you're right."
"You could have had all that if it wasn't for Abi," She started while I couldn't help but stare at Josh giggling with Mackenzie. "But don't hate her Luc, she's really nice. It's Josh's fault, not hers remember." She smiled and grabbed the tray of drinks and we walked to our table where Georgie and Chris were sat.
