Chapter 34

Tia's POV

The party was crazy, I haven't had too much to drink luckily! 

'Tee get me a drink pleeeeeeeaaaasseeeee'

'Dani you're already out of it!' I laughed at my incredibly drunk best friend.

'It's my birthday, I'm allowed to me a little tipsy!' 

'You're certainly a little more than tipsy!' She stuck out her bottom lip as if in a plea to get me to go. 

'Okay, okay! Sit here, I'll be back in a second!' I made my way through the crowd spotting a blonde girl attatching herself to a guy against the wall, I squinted and gasped.. Kelly? I hope Jai doesn't see that! 

Or do I..? Shut up Tia! 

I finally managed to get to the kitchen. I attempted to find two new and clean cups to pour drinks in. 

'Hello gorgeous' I felt someones hands wrap around me and I froze. 

'No need to be nervous' I felt him whisper into my ear making me tense up even further. I pushed him off me and turned around, trying to see if any of the Brooks were in the garden. 

'Feisty, I liked that.' His hand gripped my leg and started to move its way up. 

'Get off me' I kicked back at him and he went backwards knocking some bottles over.

'You little bitch!'

I made my way out of the kitchen and tried to run through the crowds, I could see him following me but I ducked out of his sight.. hopefully and made my way to the stairs. Running up them as quick as I could, I could see him make his way out the front door. Thank God! 

As I was upstairs, I decided to take a breather from the drunk chaos. Making my way near to the nearest bedroom in the dark. I walked into my old room first, to be greeted by a couple making out on the bed, have some respect ugh!

Next room I went to was the twins. Opening the door I could see the moonlight make its was through the window lighting up half the room. I shut the door and leaned against it. 

'Remind me never to be alone at a party again' I sighed to myself. 

I turned to my right as saw a wall full of photos. I made my way to what seemed to be the start of them, the Brooks brothers all tiny. I laughed at the photos of the ones where Beau was crying, typical. As I made my way across the photos the boys are older, photos of them with Skip and James, video set ups, meet and greets, merchandise, their first single, and towards the end.. me and Dani. 

Big group photos with the boys, and then ones of me and Jai. Our cute dates, and the one where he asked me to be his girlfriend. I couldn't stop smiling when he asked me, and Luke managed to get a photo. I reached up to touch it, a few tears falling silently down my cheeks. 

'Who's in here?' A voice came from behind me and I jumped back against the wall. The moonlight didn't light up the bed so I didn't assume anyone else was in here. 

'S..s..sorry, I just came in to get some space, I can leave if you want.'

'Tee?'

'Hi' The figure got up from the bed and came towards me, even though I knew fully well who it was I was still trembling. 

As he stood infront of me the moonlight covered his face, revealing his perfect features. 

'I didn't mean to scare you, I just didn't want some stranger coming into my room' He said calmly, he was studying my face, trying to read my expression.

'Its fine, I shouldn't have come in here, but my old room was preoccupied.'

'Little shits' He went to the door but I pulled his arm back.

'Don't worry, I'll change the sheets in the morning.' 

'You're too considerate Tee.'

'I'd rather be that, then fuming and screaming at them.' He smiled and I mirrored his action.

'You haven't changed a bit tea leaf' He chuckled.

'Did you think I would?'

'Yeah I thought you'd turn up with a mo-hawk and be covered in tattoos' I laughed at the image

'Sorry to disappoint you there!'

'That's not what I wanted, you're perfect the way you are' He reached his hand to stroke up my cheek but scrunched his hand back and put it back by his side. 

It suddenly felt very awkward between us, as we stood in silence. I didn't look into his eyes, I found a perfect spot at my feet to stare at. It felt like ages until one of us spoke again.

'I think I'm gonna go back downstairs' We said in unison, I looked back up into his eyes, the eyes I could get lost in.

'Er yeah..' He brought his arm up and starting rubbing the back of his neck nervously. 

'Come down with me?' I smiled shyly up at him and he nodded. I turned my back to him and made my way to the door.

'Tia..?' 

'Yeah?'

'I'm sorry for being such a jerk to you, I know thats a shit apology but I really mean it, and I want to make it up to you.' I didn't know how to react, I just nodded and smiled at him before making my way back downstairs. 

We got through the jumping, dancing crowd and into the garden to join our friends sitting and laughing around the bonfire. 

'TEEEEE, JYEEEEEE' Beau slurred making me laugh.

Joe shot me a confused look, and I nodded making it clear it was okay. I didn't tell Jai I loved him but I guess we'd got to a starting point. 

'There's a chair, I'll go grab another one.' Jai said quietly to me and I nodded taking a seat. 

'Jaaaai, baby I've been looking for you everywheeeerreee!!' 

She went to sit on his lap and he automatically tensed, clearly uncomfortable.

'I missed you, I'm glad we're together now though!' She kissed him but he turned his head so she caught his cheek.

This was even making me feel uncomfortable!

I'm gonna get another round, does anyone want anything?'

Everyone fired requests at me and Dani stood up to help me out with bringing the drinks back out, as I walked back towards the house I shot Jai a smile which he returned.

But I couldn't help but think should I confront him that only earlier she was making out with some other guy?! I don't know.

A/N I don't know if this is shorter than the other chapters, hope not!
