Jenny drove into the police garage and parked the car in the slot labeled Reserved DCI Hardy. Every muscle ached, a cup of coffee, not tea screamed her name. God, I am so tired. Visions of Ollie Stevens and his ratty mug filled her vision. No wonder Hardy hates Journalists. I so wanted to smack that little weasel. The cheek of the man trying to climb over Mrs. Higson chair to interview the parents. Then the wanker says he is going to have his Aunt Ellie fire me for doing my job. She won't do that, will she?

"Sir, not many cars here, hope that means they are following up on a lead to O'day's whereabouts?"

"The only problem, Lord is so many are wild goose chases, but if we can get one good lead it will be worth it."

Ellie pulled up behind them, parked, and waved. "Well that went pretty well, don't you think?"

"Miller it did if we get a good lead out of it, personally I wanted to smack Maggie for bringing up the Blue Moon incident."

"Hardy, you knew the story was out there, would you rather Karen or my snot-nosed nephew brought it up?"

"Point taken, let's get upstairs and find out what information we have gleaned." Hardy walked off

Jenny grabbed Ellie's hand and held her back. "Ellie, did you see where Ollie tried to climb over a chair to get to the parents? I had to forcefully stop him and he told me he would have you fire me. You wouldn't do that would you?"

The anger on Ellie's face was swift. "That wanker, I'll kill him. Jenny, I barely tolerate him and never listen to any of his shite. You are a good detective, and if I had to choose between you and him, it would be you!"

A giant smile broke out on Jenny's face, as Hardy walked back to them. "If you two are through gossiping, we have work to do." As he turned around, Ellie stuck her tongue out at him: she put her finger to her lips to stifle the giggle that was about to erupt from Jenny.

A yell of, "Hardy" came from across the garage where SOCO Brian was waving and motioning them over.

"Wonder what he wants?" both ladies said simultaneously.

"If you're finished with your hen party let's find out!" Hardy stomped off in Brian's direction, Ellie and Jenny rolled their eyes and ran to catch up. "What have you got?"

"Good evening to you too Hardy, Ellie, Jenny."

Hardy's expression contorted into a Let's get on with it look.

"We finished going through the van and there are some things you need to see. Come this way."

Brian led them to the evidence lockup and brought out five evidence bags varying in size. "We found the purses and wallets belonging to the women in the van. The wallets have their ID and cards but are missing any cash."

Jenny spoke first, "Well maybe they didn't have any cash left, and planned on using cards. They did pay the balance of the cottage rental in cash."

"That might be true if it was not for these." Brian placed three of the smaller evidence bags in front of them. "The time and date stamps on these cash machine receipts are for Thursday afternoon. This particle cash machine is located just outside the Harbor Pub, where they ate. Carol took out sixty pounds, Susan and Peggie each forty pounds. By no stretch of the imagination could their meals have cost one hundred and forty quid."

Hardy examined each receipt. "So O'day, not only drugged, raped and murdered them, he stole from them also, Seems he was intent on breaking every commandment in the bible."
