Sometimes, Lord,
You allow me to fall off the path,
Because you want me to find my way.
I've thought long and hard,
And I've seen that this is true.
I don't come to you,
Because I think I can go on my own,
But I really need you.
So here I am again;
Just me.
I'm not much Lord,
But please take me.
I know I could do nothing,
Nothing at all without you.
Anything I did not for you,
I'm not proud of.
But the things I've done for you,
Those things make me feel whole inside.
God you've given me things,
Things I don't deserve.
You took me in,
Called me your daughter,
And wrote me down in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Lord,
You are my world.
Without you,
I could do nothing.
I would be nothing.
Jesus gave me strength,
When I thought I had none.
I was afraid,
Depressed,
Alone.
And then came strength.
God,
Take me as me.
I know it's not much,
But have all of me.
You gave me all,
And here I am.
I know nothing can be as great,
As what you've done for me,
But I give you me.
Take me as I am, Lord.
Take me as me.
