Chapter 12

Jayden's POV

I walked outside and saw my best friend sitting by the bar. I smirked deciding to sneak him. I ran up behind him lightly punching his side. He turned and laughed when he noticed me. "Jayden my man, how have you been?" "Cory Wilding, it's so good to see you. I'm fine, how about you?" Cory smiled. "All good here." We talked for a while before Jasmine ran towards us. "I see you found him Jayden." She said. I grinned at her. "Yup all thanks to you." We ordered a few drinks, talking about things going on in our lives. The vibe was nice until I heard a familiar voice. "Where did she go?" I turned and see Ashley frantically searching for someone. "Is that Ashley Rayne?" Jasmine said. I gave a tight nod. "Don't tell me you know Jayden." Cory said. Fuck! "Damn, you caught me red handed." I said. Both of their eyes widen. "I knew it," Jasmine said. "Call her over here." "I don't think that's a good idea." I said hesitating. "How come?" Cory asked. I sighed explaining to them both what happened a few hours ago. "Are you serious? Adrienne is here and she took rich girl with her?" Jasmine said. I nodded finally deciding to grab Ashley and see what's going on. When I approached her, she looked stunned; however, she didn't back up and I was glad that she didn't. I needed to apologize to her and this was the right time to do that. "I'm so sorry Ashley. Again I let my temper get the best of me and I lost it." She looked at me before slapping me again and let me tell you, it hurt like hell. This woman could slap the taste out of you quick and fast. I grabbed my cheek feeling how hot it was. To tell you the truth, I actually liked it. It was a huge turn on to me and made me want her even more. She looked at me hard before smiling. "I forgive you Jayden. Besides, I can't stay mad at you forever; plus, I was hoping I ran into you." "Care to tell me what happened?" I said. She sighed. "After the incident we had earlier, Adrienne brought me inside our room; but when I woke up, she was gone. It was as if she disappeared from the face of this earth." I pressed my lips together thinking. It was a bit strange of Adrienne just to up and leave like that without telling anyone. Then again, she was probably still fuming over me attacking her, which I don't blame her.  I took Ashley's hand leading her over to where Cory and Jasmine patiently waited. "Ashley," I said. "This is my cousin Jasmine Savage and my best friend, Cory Wilding. Cory and Jasmine, This is Ashley Rayne." Jasmine squealed running over to Ashley. "It's so nice to finally meet you in person." She said. Ashley smiled. "As do I." Cory shook her hand and we both seated ourselves. "I think it's time for me to tell you why I held you hostage in the first place." Ashley scoffed. "It's about damn time you jerk." Jasmine chuckled as I begin to explain. When I was done, Ashley slapped me again. I believe that was the third time.  "You know Devin Strong?!!!" She said. "Yeah I do. What's your point?" I said. Ashley glared at me reaching to slap me again but Jasmine pulled her aside in the nick of time trying to calm her down. Next to me, Cory whistled. "That Ashley Rayne is a hot head." "Tell me about it." I said watching Jasmine talk to Ashley.
