Early Life (2003-2015):
Halley was born after the end of the First Wizarding war. She was the first child of parents Venus Black-Weasley and Neville Longbottom. Halley was named for 'Halley's Comet', which was visible on the day of her birth, following the tradition of her mother's family (the Blacks), of naming their children after stars. Her middle name 'Alice', came from her Paternal Grandmother, Alice Longbottom, who was tortured into insanity during the end of the First Wizarding War, and spent the rest of her life living in St Mungos.
