It's Time to Believe

This isn't a Dream

You give a small smile, "Your right Joey, there is nothing wrong with dreaming. When do we start this project?" He grins wider than you have ever seen him. "Oh I knew you'd like it! Well, there are some things to get in order first like our income and stability. Put I want to try making it as soon as possible!" He says to you, and gives you a smooch on the cheek. "Is there anything I can help with today?" You ask. "Well...hmm.." He thinks for a moment.."Ah! I know! Wait here." He says snapping his fingers at his idea. He walks to the nearby cabinet and pulls out some longer sheets of drawing paper. "Could you help with making posters for new episodes of Bendy? I would ask Henry but he's busy at the moment with other tasks." He says as he hands the papers to you. Since you know already about what episodes he's talking about, you take the posters into your hands. "I would love to Joey. I'll get started on these right away!" You leave him to his work, and go out to the lobby where the others are.

"Oh hello there again babydoll whatcha got there?" Sammy says smiling at you. "Hello Sammy, and to answer your question I have to draw something for Joey. Now if you don't excuse me, I must get to work." You say and push past him. "Aw c'mon there dollface don't be like that..." You glare at him, and he puts his arms up in surrender. "Ok ok I'll leave ya be little sheep, don't worry about that." He smiles nervously and walks away. You give a defiant "Hmph!" And walk to the nearest desk, sit down, and began to draw.

A few hours later, you have a few of the drawings completed.You feel arms wrap around your neck. "How's my little devil darling doing hmm?" You smile to yourself and hold his arms. "Here, take a look." You smile and hand over your work.He looks them over, and smiles greatly. "I knew you'd be the person for the job! These look amazing! Thank you honey." He says giving you a kiss. You laugh "I'm glad you like them." He holds your hand, and you both leave the studio. The sun is starting to set, and the sunset looks beautiful. You both head to the lot and he stops on the crosswalk and gives you a long and passionate kiss. "Thank you for all your work today, I love you darlin'" He says. You blush and kiss him again. "I love you too. Anything for you, my charming devil." You hold his hand and walk to the car.

It all happened so fast.

You were both walking to the car, and you both heard a screech of rubber. You didn't have a chance to look where it came from, because you were pushed out of the way. You look back and see Joey giving you one last charming smile and he mouthed the words "I love you" As the car hit him head on. Your heart stopped as the car kept driving and the one you love was on the ground. You run to him and call an ambulance using your phone. Falling on your knees, You pick him up, not caring about the blood staining your clothes. You brush the hair out of his face, and notice that the eyes you love to see so much are closed. He's barely breathing, and you cry. You look up at the sky and scream his name to the heavens, hoping and praying that he isn't taken from you.
