"Illuminate"
Street lamps and cell phones
Pierce the dark veil
Of insanity
That so desperately clings to me
Eyes illuminated with hope surround the otherwise dark void
Tearful sobs
Remain unheard
Through the eruption of laughter
That covers and coats the town
Bright lights
Wandering into the darkness
Illustrating the hopelessness
The desperation
The broken souls
Longing for a connection
Longing for love
Longing for something to cling to
Hoping to be remembered
Praying to be held
Wondering
When their life
Will cease to be darkness
Wondering
When their life
Will finally
Illuminate

All The Words I Couldn't Say
PoetryA book of poetry. Essentially a rant book in poetry form that is for everyone except the person who needs to hear it. I apologize for excessive amounts of depression, this is how I cope with my everyday life.
