"To me"
Misty eyes
Life in greyscale
As I stare down
At your body pale and frailNow that you're gone
Who will I be?
The crowd shakes their head
But they do not seeThe breaking of a heart
The broken bells of a steeple
That no longer ring
The church no longer filled with peopleThey do not see
Boisterous laugher
Of someone fair and true
Only the disaster
Caused by youThey see the black
The mourning flowers
They see the tears
That flow during every hourThey see not
Your joy
Your shelter
Your peaceThey see not
Who you were
To me
