Chapter 7

A/N update!!! Finally! Sorry guys. Been busy.

Lunch time. Finally. Mal and I went to the cafeteria and got pasta. We say down and waited for everyone else.

I saw Connor and a few other boys coming towards our table.

" Hey Ali!" Connor said.

" Hey Connor! I'm happy you could come over here and sit with us." I said.

" Hi Mallory. Nice to see you. This is Tanner, Cory, Malcolm, and Kodi." He said as they all sat down.

" We eat, sleep and breathe basket ball." Tanner said.

" You are going to come to our game right?" Malcom asked.

" Yeah. Mal and I. I'll just need to ask Lena. "

" Your sister?" Kodi asked.

" No. She's my foster mom actually." I said.

" Oh. Cool. Hope you can come. We really want you too." Cory said.

I took a bite of my pasta.

" Mmmmmm." I said. All the boys laughed at me.

" What? It's really good"

Conner took my fork from me and took a bite. I was surprised but okay with it.

" You're right. It is good."

" Ooooooooh!" all the boys said. I blushed.

A girl, about 5'4 with beautiful brown hair and a sporty sense of style came over with two other girls of equal beauty. One had light brown hair and glasses the other long black hair and darker skin than mine.

" Hey guys! Mind if we join? Oh my name is Annabel. This is Amber." she said pointing to the girl with glasses.

" And this is Becca." Annabel said.

" Nice to meet you I'm Ali. " I said. All the boys came and sat with us after. We were a big group but I liked it.

" No sign of Raquel. " Connor said.

" Not yet. " Jason replied.

" What did Raquel do?" Becca asked.

" Well. " I said.

Mal took over.

" Yesterday we were eating lunch and she came over." Mal started to explain.

" Then she made fun of Ali." Jason continued.

I showed them my hand.

" Because of my mild spastic Cerebral Palsy. " I said. ( A/N I actually have this. My right side is affected. )

" She asked what it was like being a cripple and made fun of her brace." Nash said.

" If she wasn't a girl i'd beat her sorry ass." Connor said.

" I'll beat her up!" Annabel said excitedly. " Finally gives me a reason too. Being an annoying little douche pants didn't cut it."

We burst out laughing.

" I'll help Annabel. She deserves it. Nobody messes with my friends. Ever." Becca said.

" I would help too, but I don't fight." Amber said.

" Thanks guys. You guys are the best. I truly mean it." I said.

" So. " Malcom said.

" Will all of you come to our game after school?" Kodi said looking at all of us.

" It would mean the world. Best game ever." Connor said.

" Sure! why not?" I said and we all walked out of the cafeteria.
