(A/N I feel like this story isn't taking off like I wanted it to.)
I still find it weird how Raquel wants to hang out with me. I think she's nice and probably didn't know how to say what she wanted to correctly so I am going to give her another chance. Who knows, we could be best friends.
I roll over and see that it is 10:30 so I decide to finally get out of bed. I go downstairs and am greeted by the smell of waffles. Reese and Mia are seated at the table eating. I sit next to Reese and grab a waffle for myself.
" Nice of you to join us little sis. "
" A girl needs her beauty sleep right Mia?"
" Yeah!" Mia said joyously.
" So what are you doing today?" Reese asked.
" Going to the mall with Amber and Raquel. " I answered.
" Raquel Kraft?"
" Yep!" I said popping the p and shoving another bite of waffle into my mouth.
" The quiet one?"
" Yeah. I guess. She was sorta mean to me the first day but I think I'll give her a chance. "
" Good for you. "
" Thanks. What are you doing later?"
" Hanging with the guys and shooting hoops. " He said.
" Well duh. " I said.
" I thought you knew me!" he said and fake cried into Mia's shoulder.
" Ali you made Reese cry!" she said.
" He's not really crying. He's just pretending."
" Oh thank goodness! he scared me."
" Sorry Mimi. " He said and picked her up and tossed her on the couch in the living room. I laughed and felt my phone buzz.
From: Raquel
I'm on my way.
" Hey Reese. Where's Lena?" I asked.
" Grocery shopping. " He replied.
" Okay. Raquel is coming to pick me up. "
" Have fun. " He said and I went upstairs to grab my purse and money.
I went back down stairs and saw her car in the driveway.
" Bye Reese. Bye Mimi. " I said hugging them both and walking out the door.
" Hey girl!" Raquel said as I got into her car.
" Hey. " I said.
" Amber is meeting us at Starbucks. " She said.
" Oh. Okay awesome. " We drove to the mall and parked. We walked into Starbucks and bought our drinks.
" Amber!" I yelled running to her.
" Hey babe. " She said.
" Who's ready to shop till we drop?" Raquel asked.
" Me!" Amber and I said.
