midnight brekkie ('17)

A night in;
a mini arcade and cinema session occupying our latest evening;
jazzy tunes and nostalgic hits accompanied by the laughter of reminiscing.

How I'm fortunate enough to share the first glimpses of sunlight with you I'll never know;
how 'bout a late night breakfast to help your juices flow.

The sizzling on the stove, low fat;
orange juice or tea from the kettle, if you prefer that;
stack 'em up on a tray, so no leftovers on the mat.

A girl can eat;
let me slide you some more when I come back;
steam hitting my face, the last place that was sat;

she hates that she craves so much, but I think it's wack;
there are people dying to have your figure, and that's a fact.

Whoa, all this heat got me feeling queasy; looking over my shoulder hoping you ain't being sneaky.

Got my Nerf gun on me like I'm holding on a Glock;
instinct mode activated to avoid a headshot.

On my way back to the room, I'm creeping;
slowing my steps, to keep the floor from creaking;
around the corner, I hope she doesn't catch me peeking;
aw, it's so cute seeing my girlfriend sleeping, but look at all this food that I'll be eating.
