Betty's POV

I open my eyes. I look around and see an unfamiliar surrounding.I try to lift my head to see more but gasp when I feel a sudden pain in my stomach, I lead my eyes down to my torso and discover a diagonal wound going from the bottom of my ribs to my left leg. It was blood all around me and I feel dizzy.

Unknown POV

When I stand behind a tree, hiding, I see how the little blonde girl trying to get up, with blood stains all around her and she is bleeding a lot. It hurts me to see her like this. I hear footsteps from behind. There seems to be many of them so I decided to run, faster than light to rule out any conflicts.

Betty's POV

Someone is watching me, someone I know. I finally manage to sit up and look around.
'' Juggie!'' I screamed when the figure watching me ran away. I'm completely sure its Jughead, I mean, the raven hair, the beanie, everything just makes sense. But that's not the only thing bothering me right now. There are people coming, many even. At this point I'm terrified. What if this was the last moment of my life?

Third person POV

The gang comes closer to the little girl laying in the long grass. A girl from the gang with pink hair comes closer to her and sticks up a sharp, bloody knife. '' If you move, even a little you will regret it.'' But the blond girl is out of control, she jumps up, like the pain caused by the wound didn't even matter anymore. She ran, like a someone who just couldn't take it anymore. She was completely out of her mind.

Jughead's POV

I see Betty running through the woods, after her a girl I thought could be trusted, Toni Topaz, with a bloody knife in her hand. I scream, at the top of my lungs '' I thought I could trust you! I thought you guys said that you would never hurt anyone ever again!'' The group stopped. Everyone except Betty who continued to run as fast as she could. My first thought was to just let her go, but I couldn't, so I ran after her. I was obviously stronger and faster than her so I was with her at the range of a couple of seconds. I finally calm down a little, but not when I see all the younger Southside Serpents after me. I grab Betty with all my forces that I have left and sprinted to the nearest house.

It turned out to be the Mantle family's house. I knock like crazy on the door and I hear a click from the inside lock. ''Come in'' I hear Reggie's voice from inside. I open the door and rush in with Betty laying defenceless in my arms. '' Gosh! What have you done to her!?'' Reggie yelled. '' I didn't do this to her, the other Serpent's did'' I managed to say before I collapsed on the ground. '' We need to take her to the hospital...'' Reggie mumbled. '' Don't you think I know!?'' I yelled back at Reggie. '' Okay chill bro.'' He said calmly. Obviously his mom had been woken up and came rushing down the stairs. ''What happened!?'' Mrs. Mantle questioned. ''She needs to be taken to the hospital miss, do you think you could drive us there?'' I asked hopefully. '' Of course'' She stated.

Betty's POV

I think I blacked out for a moment there. I feel someone holding my hand. ''Jughead..'' I manage to get through. '' "Betts, it's going to be alright. You have lost a lot of blood, Reggie's mom is taking us to the hospital.'' I see how Mrs. Mantle waves back from the front seat. '' Juliet, everything will be alright, just stay with me, stay wi...'' I hear his words fall apart...
