Bughead Oneshots 🍔

Wait, what?

Gosh she was so beautiful. Her long locks, grass green eyes, okay I needed to pay attention to the class, but still. I started to imagine our future together, but got abruptly awaken by Archie bending down to kiss Betty's cheek before he left. She was blushing, but she had a huge smile on her face which made my heart stop. What? I was completely shocked by the kiss Archie just gave her. Were they together? I knew Betty always have had feelings for Archie, but I thought that it was just a stupid crush.

At lunch

I went over to my usual seat in the back of the room with two Big Macs on my plate. Food always calmed me down, but today's event was too much for me to take in. I started eating as normal, but then they came into my sight. Betty and Archie hugging in front of the whole cafeteria. That was enough. I finished eating one of my burgers and left the other one at the table. I wasn't hungry anymore.

I felt my eyes tearing as I sat in the corner of a toilet booth, crying. Something I rarely did, but all this with Betty and Archie made my heart break. I has always been in love with Betty, she was the prettiest, smartest and most fabulous girl I've ever met. I needed to do something to get rid of my feelings, so I went to see Veronica, Betty's bestie, about it. She knows her well and would help me.

"Hi Jughead" She said with that sassy voice that I never really liked

"Hey, just to make this clear, I still don't like you okay?" I assured her

"Sure, but what do you want?" She rolled her eyes.

"Is Betty and Archie together?" I questioned

"Yes!! Isn't it exciting?" She exclaimed loud.

"Thanks and bye" I said with my heart broken.

I needed to ask Betty herself, as Veronica had just broken my heart even more. Everyone knew, but me.

(This is Jughead and Betty texting)

Me: Hi Betts, how are you doing?
Betty: I'm fine, you?
Me: I need to talk to you about something
Betty: Sure, Pop's at 5?
Me: Sounds great

I came a little early at 4:30 so I could order some food and stuff before she came so I went over to Pop to order.

I let out a 'O my god' as I saw Betty and Archie kissing a few booths away. A minute later I saw a text from Betty that she sent five minutes ago. 'Sorry Jug, I have got some plans today so we need to cancel the Pop's thing'. In that moment our eyes met and I ran out of Pop's, I just couldn't believe what she had done. She had canceled our meeting so she could go and hook up with Archie. Great.

"Jug, no!" She exclaimed with her beautiful voice.

"Seriously?! Canceling our dinner to hook up with Archie?" My breath was shaking. I hated to argue with her.

"Jughead! Come over here, we need to talk, now!" She had raised her voice and actually sounded a little scary.

"Sure" I muttered while wandering over to her.

"I'm so sorry Jug... All this about Archie, my mom needed money to fund Polls and we didn't have much left so I accepted an offer from Mr. Lodge so I could get money from my family." She took a deep breath. "I'm so so so sorry Jug"

"Have you ever even liked me?" I pleaded "Of course you haven't" tears started to run down my cheeks as I answered my own question. "I'm a weird loner, that no one wants. But Archie, he is the golden boy. It's just meant for the cheerleader and the jock to be together right?" The sadness took me over. I started sobbing, and so did Betty.

"I have always loved you Jug. You have always been there for me and this time I promise I will do the same for you" tears were flowing down her cheeks and her sobbs was getting closer together.

"I love you so much Betty" I said without any hesitation

"But I love you more" her words echoed through my head.

We went together in a soft kiss. The kiss I had always imagined.

" What the hell are you doing to my girlfriend?! " A familiar voice yelled. Archie.

"He doesn't know about the whole money thing" She whispered in my ear.

"Get away from her Jughead!!!" He yelled louder.

"No Arch, just go!" Betty yelled back

"So, are you behind all this? Are you cheating on me Betty?!" He tightened his fist as he took two steps closer to Betty, but before he could do anything I pushed him down on the ground.

" If you ever try to hurt Betty again I will literally KILL you Archie!!!!" My voice was louder than I planned

"You think you have a chance against me?" A grotesque grin went over his face.

That's when it happened. Betty dragged me down to my car on the road as she asked hastily:

"Do you have a driver's license?"

"Yes, come on Betts!" I pushed her into my car as Archie ran against us. I slammed my foot against the pedal and off we where.

"You're a bad guy" She giggled

"You have no idea" I grinned

We pulled over at an old garage and I leaned in so I could look right into each others eyes.

"I love you Betts" I said for the second time.

" I love you even more" She said, smiling.

Our lips came together, also for the second time, in a passionate kiss that ended with something much bigger.
