Hi! I'm not dead, I'm sooo sorry for not updating since, maybe March, but I have had huge writers block and have just been generally lazy, but here you go!

They were walking down Sweetwater river, holding hands, and looking wistfully into each others eyes.

"I love you Jughead Jones" a soft voice said.
"I love you more" a smile crept upon his face.

The alarm clock woke me up with a loud ringing noise which made me sit up in bed. Darn it. I needed to stop dreaming about her. About us. Because it would never happen, I mean. She is the most beautiful girl in Riverdale High, with blonde locks and green eyes. I, however, was the outcast boy with messy raven hair, and with my stupid beanie. She would never be with me.

At school

I was hoping to see Betty today, she hadn't been to school this week, and it was already Thursday. I had a slight feeling she wasn't really okay. To reassure myself I went over to Archie, sitting with Veronica at the table near the entry, and Archie just couldn't stop playing with her hair.

"Hi Archie, have you seen Betty today?" I asked hesitantly.

"She isn't coming to school today either, she has a cold." He answered simply so he could continue playing with Veronica's hair.

"Okay, thanks" I said while walking out of school, to Betty's house. Something had to be wrong. It was not like her to miss a whole week of school.

At the Cooper house

I searched around the garden but couldn't find it. The ladder. My plan was to take the ladder up to Betty's window and ask her what had been going on. I finally found it by the garage and moved it to her window and started to slowly climb up. I knocked on her window while I saw a familiar face opening the window and with a smile hugging me tightly.

" Hi Jug! Why are you here?" I saw her fake a smile while she let me in

"Are you alright?" I asked, I knew he would lie, but it didn't matter.

"Yes..." She said unsurley.

"Are you sure?" I convinced her.

"No Jug, I'm not." She said as tears started filling her eyes. "I thought I could trust Veronica, but then she started hooking up with Archie, and I guess that's exactly what Arch wants." Now tears were flooding down her cheeks as she buries her face in her hands.

"Hey" I said while cupping her face. "Archie was a real jerk when he rejected you, and Veronica coming here hasn't made it better, but I will be here for you, don't worry."

She pulled my face closer and leaned in, I cupped her face and closes my eyes as our lips came together in a soft kiss.

"I love you Betty Cooper" I said with tears filling my eyes.

"And I love you Jughead Jones" She said in that calm voice I had always kept in my mind. We leaned in again, with our lips melting together.
