It was on that fateful day of 'October 15 th' when all of the happiness of the family was taken away.
The family was traveling back to Konoha from their vacation to their ancestral home. It was raining heavily. On the way of driving back home, they were stopped by an accident that took place in front of them. Minato got out of the car to take a look. Little did the family know that it was a trick? Suddenly people began to surround Minato and the car. They demanded the money. Minato fearing the safety of Naruko and Naruto handed over the cash. Not being contented the dacoits demanded the necklaces in the children's neck. Both Minato and Kushina refused. The dacoits snatched Naruto away from Kushina and threatened to kill him. Minato and Kushina lost their cool.

They engaged in a fierce hand to hand combat with the dacoits. Minato used his teleportation technique and took Naruto away from the dacoits. He then took him and Naruko to a safe spot. Minato told the kids that they are not supposed to move from that spot. After ensuring their safety he teleported himself back to the place where Kushina was fighting the dacoits all alone.

Minato was no novice. He had been trained for situations like these. He was a martial arts specialist and had been trained by the 'Legendary Jiraiya'. Jiraiya was an ex-army officer who also happened to be the 'World Martial Arts Champion'.
Skilfully Minato dodged the attacks using his speed and knowledge of martial arts.

Kushina, on the other hand, was no less. She was at the tip of her patience. Her read hair started to rise in 9 long strands. She screamed
"You are going to pay for putting my children in danger! Do not underestimate the love of a parent!"
She killed many of them with her bare hands.

After about what seemed like hours the fight was coming to an end. Minato and Kushina were clearly winning. The two children were silently cheering for their parents.
Naruto: "Nee-chan! Mom and Dad are so cool! "
