* Unedited, so excuse the mistakes. I was just really tired. I'm going to try and write in Jacob's point of veiw every now and then, starting with this chapter.

Trying to keep up with Steven, I ocassionally bummped into peolple. Steven turned around everytime, chuckled and shook his head. I never even got the chance to say sorry to any of the people I bummped into they were gone within seconds. While walking down the hallway someone walked up to Steven.

"Hey what's up dude?" I heard the other guy say.

"Nothing much, on my way to health." Steven said back casually.

"Ahh cool, who's this?" The boy asked, leaning to Stevens side and looking at me.

"This is Sarah." Steven said pointing to me and smiling.

"HI, I'm sean ." He said smiling

"Hi." Was just about all I could say. I knew how nervous I sounded, I managed to give him a little half smile , trying to be nice. It's not like I'm anti-social or anything, I'm just never really excited to see anybody, and I can't really hold conversations.

"Well, I gotta get to class, see you guys later." Sean said with another smile as he walked off.

"Alright, see you later dude." Wow Stevens voice really was deep.

Steven walked into the health room and I followed, he walked over to a table and sat down. I sat down accross from him just as the bell rang.

" So, you're not from around here right? Becuase I know you're knew to this school but I've never seen you around town or anything ." Steven said, trying to make conversation.

Just as I was about to answer him, Jacob walked into the room. Great, he was in my health class. Our eyes met again, and I quickly looked away. It almost seemed like he looked mad, like he thought I was stalking him or something. Suddenly feeling more hurt than I should, seeing that I didn't even know him, I heard the chair next to Steven get pulled out.

"Sarah? Hello?" I looked back up at Steven, " Welcome back to Earth." He said jokingly. But I couldn't help but freak out, Jacob was sitting next to Steven and I felt really awkward.

"What's up?" I heard Jacob ask Steven.

"Nothing, wanting summer back already." Steven said after sighing.

"Yeah, me too." I just sat there silently, not knowing if I should say something. It's not like my summer was fun or anything, so I figured I'd skip that whole conversation, one more chance to make myself look less lame than what I really am.

"Oh this is Sarah . Sarah this is Jake." Steven really did just do the worst thing that he could have done at the moment.

I looked back up, "Hi Sarah ." Jacob flashed me the most perfect smile, the way he said my name, wow...

"H-h-hi ." I choked out, realizing how stupid I must look. Thankfully the teacher walked in, his name was Mr. Jones. From what he explained his class seemed pretty easy, I couldn't really pay attention to what he was saying because I could feel Jacob staring at me. Self-consious of every move I made, I did my best to seem cute. Which always fails, and I assumed I looked uncomfortable or something. But really I was, so I guess I can't really avoid my uncomfortable awkwardness. The bell rang and I jumped up out of my seat, trying to leave the room. But Steven stopped me.

"What class do you have next?" He asked.

"Chemistry." I said, barely speaking because Jacob was standing right next to him.

"Oh cool I have Chem, I can show you where it is if you want." Jacob's voice just made everything sound ten times better.

"Okay." I said, trying again to smile.
