Meeting Jacob

 I know this chapter is a little short, it's mostly a filler.

Sarah's POV

It's been about 5 minuets since I've been sitting in the emergency waiting room. A nurse came out and called my name, I stood up and Jacob placed his hand on the center of my back and walked with me over to the nurse, she smiled and me, and made some serious eye contact with Jacob. She looked pretty young, atleast in here twenties. 

"Come this way ." She said, while stepping behind this curtain, she had me sit in this chair and began asking me questions , like my birthday and why I'm here. 

"Okay." She said, " Follow me." 

We walked through a door and down this long hallway, we reached the nurses station and she pulled back the curtain to the room across the nurses station. 

"You can have a seat here, a doctor will be right with you."

"Thank you." I said before she walked out. But she turned around and I realized Jacob was talking to her. "Can she have some more ice for that?" 

The nurse smiled at Jacob " Of course."

"Thanks."

Jacob turned and faced me with a concerned look on his face, " Are you okay?" I nodded. He sat in the chair next to my bed and looked up at me, " You're gonna be alright." I smiled at him, " I know."

The nurse came back in with my ice and handed it to me, she smiled at Jacob before she left, but he wasn't looking at her. She scoffed and left the room.

A few minuets later the doctor walked in, holding a folder with a bunch of papers in it, " So Sarah, says here you think you broke your wrist."

"Yeah." I said nodding.

He looked up from the folder, over at Jacob, then at me, " Well, I'm going to have to take a look at it." 

I took the ice off my wrist and handed it to Jacob, I didn't realize how bad my wrist looked till I took the ice off. It was completely black and blue and swollen, I gasped. My doctor walked over to my bedside and gently held my wrist, he pressed on a part of my wrist and I screamed in pain, Jacob jumped out of his chair, ready to lunge at the doctor. "I'm sorry hunny, but since you're having pain, we're going to need an x-ray." He looked over at Jacob before writing something down in the folder, " Alright, we're going to have a nurse come in and prepare you for the x-ray." I nodded " Okay, thanks."

Jacob stood closer to my bed, he looked worried, " Are you okay?" 

My wrist was still throbbing, but I faked a smile at him anyway " Yeah."

A new nurse came back in, " Okay sweety, we're gonna take you to get an x-ray." She looked up at Jacob, " You're boyfriend can come too."

"Oh, he's n-"

"Okay." Jacob murmured. I looked up at him, wide-eyed, his eyes were soft and he nodded his head towards the curtain "Come on."

We followed the nurse down another hallway and she opened two big doors. We were in large room that hand an x-ray machine hanging from the ceiling. 

"Sit here hun." She pointed to a chair next to a large table.

"Place your arm here." She gently grabbed my arm with the broken wrist and place in on the table, she walked off and the pressed something, the machine lowered and pratically covered my arm.

I looked over at Jacob, who was watching the x-ray machine intently.

"Don't move sweetheart, okay?"

 l looked over at the nurse and nodded "Okay."

After about two minuets the x-ray machine began rising to the ceiling. 

"Okay, we'll have your results soon."

I stood up from the chair, and followed the nurse back into my room. When we reached the room Jacob asked her if I can more ice. She came back with my ice and left just as fast.

About ten minuets later, my doctor came into the room. He shut off the lights and turned on the x-ray picture viewing board that was on the wall. 

He placed my x-rays on the board and began explaining it to me how where my wrist was broken. They're going to reline my bones and I'm going to need a cast.

After I got my cast, and was released, it was 1:00am in the morning.

"Aww shit, my mom is gonna freak!" I dug threw my pockets looking for my phone but I couldn't find it. 

Jacob handed me my purse, and I found my phone and texted Kelsey first. 

Me: Are you awake?

Kelsey: We're still at Jacob's waiting for you guys.

Jacob opened my car door and I slide into the passenger seat. Jacob go in the car and put the key in the ignition.

I faced Jacob, "Kelsey and the guys are still at your house."

Jacob looked over at me when we reached a red light, " Okay, I guess we're going back to my house."

I had another text from Kelsey

Kelsey: Wanna stay at my house tonight?

Me: Yeah, I don't feel like dealing with my mom right now.

Kelsey: Are you guys coming back here?

Me: We should be there in about five minuets.

Kelsey: Okay.

I texted my mom too.

Me: Sorry, I fell alseep at Kelsey's is it okay if I stay at her house?

Mom: Yeah, but don't worry me like that again.

By time I looked up from my phone we were outfront of Jacob's house. I followed him inside and down to the basement.

"Yo Jake." Kyle walked to the bottm of the steps. "Is Sarah okay?" 

"Yeah, she's fine." Jacob said walking into the basement.

I was right behind Jacob and as soon as Eric saw my cast he came running to me with a marker, "Let me sign it !"

"Haha okay." I held my arm out and Eric began writing on my cast.

Kelsey came up, " Lavender, you're favorite color." She said smiling at me.

"Yeah." I gave her a little smile back.

I looked over at Jacob who was talking to Steven. 

Steven saw me looking at him and smiled at me.

"Need a ride home?"

I smiled back , " Actually a ride to Kelsey's."

"Alright, ready to go?"

"Yeah just give me a second." I walked over to Jacob, he stared into my eyes for a couple seconds but I broke the gaze, " Thank you for tonight." 

Jacob just nodded. 

"Bye guys." I waved to Eric and Kyle before walking up the basement steps with Steven and Kelsey.
