I skipped ahead through Sarah's first week of school. It would drag the story out if I wrote day by day. So this chapter is starting off from Sarah's last class on Friday, the end of her first week.
*Uneditied.
Casting in Chapters 1and 3 if anyone is interested in seeing characters.
It's last peroid and Friday, thank god. I headed towards my locker, with Steven by my side. With the help of him and Kelsey, I survived my first week. Well almost, only one more class to go. I was putting my books in my locker, and Steven was being really quiet, which was weird because he always had something to talk about.
"Listen Sarah" The hint of nervousness in his voice was making me nervous. I tried to be casual, but I sounded worried.
"Yeah?" I shut my locker and started walking towards the gym, Steven fell right into step with me.
"Are you still going tonight?"
"I guess, I mean."
"Okay, I just wanted to ask you something." That was it, all the energy I had put into remaining calm and not showing how confused and nervous I was dissapeard.
"Y-y-eah?" I could barely get one word out.
"Can you just be careful tonight?" I gave Steven a confused look. Why would he be asking me to be careful.
"It's just that I know you don't really no anybody too well yet, and if we get seperated I don't want anything bad to happen to ya, cause then I'd feel bad." He looked down at me in all seriousness. Steven was actually worried.
"Uh, sure." I said, still confused. "But- "
"Okay good." He cut me off before I could ask why.
We walked into the gym and I could see the back of Jacob's head in a crowd of boys. I haven't really spoken to him all week, he sits with Steve, Kelsey and I at lunch. He normally just stares at me and I don't say much. Steven is usually eating the whole time, and Kelsey spends more time talking to me about girl stuff, the boys don't really care about that stuff though. We don't sit together in chemistry because Samantha manages to get there everyday before me and sits next to Jacob, but I'm greatful for it, this way I don't have to say anything stupid around Jacob. I've been thinking about him a lot. Too much actually.
"Saaaarraaaaaahh!" Kelsey came running at me full speed. She crashed into me, hugging me, that's Kelsey for you. She's known me a week, saw me yesterday, but acts like she hasn't seen me in years. I guess you could say we were pretty close. She's supposed to be staying at my house tonight.
"I'm so excited for tonight ! I've got like three outfits in my locker I'm bringing to your house, you have to help me choose."
"Haha, okay." I said smiling, Kelsey just has this way about her that makes you laugh. She's always so excited and open, which is the complete opposite of me, I guess we balance eachother out.
I looked at Jacob across the gym, girls all over him. For some reason I felt a little angry. I mean, I barely knew him, and he certainly wasn't mine, but seeing those girls bothered me. But why?
"Hello? Sarrraaaaahhh?" I looked at Kelsey who was waving her hands in my face, I didn't even realize that Steven had left already.
"Sorry." I mumbled. "It's okay." She said cheerfully. "Lets go change."
Gym went by quickly, too quickly, we went out to the track and ran the mile, oh how I love the mile. Kelsey spent the whole time talking about tonight, and explaining all her outfits to me, even though I knew I'd be seeing them anyway. I could see Jacob on the other side of the track running along side his friends, but I focused back on Kelsey. Next thing I knew, Jacob comes running along side me and Kelsey.
