Yeah, I know this chapter is a little short, but I just got back from vacation.
*Votes and comments would be great
I entered the gym. Thankful it was last period, I knew I'd be seeing Jacob any minute, and all I could think about was him and Samantha " He told me when he came over my house Saturday."
"Sarah." I turned and faced Kelsey, she looked concerned. " Are you okay?"
I tried to smile at her, " Yeah, I'm fine."
"Okay." She said, still a hint of worry in her voice. We headed into the girls locker room and got changed. As soon as I stepped out of the girls locker room Steve was right in my face "Hi."
"Hey." I said, smiling at him.
"Everything okay?" He sounded mad.
"Uh, yeah." Why wouldn't everything be okay? I mean we talked early about what Samantha said so-
"Has she said anything else to you?" He sounded really mad now, and Kelsey was standing next to him.
'N-no."
"Good." I heard Kelsey say, and Steve mumbled something about liars.
I just sighed, I can't believe this is all going on, I mean I figured since I was the new girl no one really start any drama with me.
I saw Jacob walk out of the boys locker room, my heart drop to the end of my stomach, my breathing stopped, I felt my face turning red, what is going on with me?
"Sarah." Before I knew it, he was right infront of me.
"Whatever Samantha said to you is far from the truth." He sounded upset, but worried. " I don't think you're annoying, at all, she's just -"
"Okay." I said, cutting him off. I really didn't want to hear anymore.
He looked confused, "But-"
"It's fine, really. I talked to Steve and Kelsey already."
He looked dissapointed. His eyes met mine, and they softened " I don't hate you."
"I know." I said, laughing slightly. I turned and walked away, I could see Kelsey talking to some girl, and I needed to be away from Jacob right now.
The bell rang and I headed out of the gym to my locker. I was grabbing my things when I heard Jacob call me name. I turned and he was a few feet away from me, a couple people were looking and it made me feel uncomfortable.
"Hey." He said, smiling at me.
My heart melted. "Hey." I smiled back effortlessly.
"Do you wanna hang out today? Just me and you?" He sounded a little nervous, and I was freaking out.
"Uh, yeah sure. Just let me get my stuff."
"Okay." He smiled at me. He turned and someone who was walking by my locker started talking to him, he just stood there infront of my locker talking to some guy, waiting for me. I tried to drag it out, acting like I couldn't find something, Jacob didn't seem to mind waiting either.
I shut my locker and turned to face him.
"Ready?" He said, smiling, I nodded.
We walked out of school and headed towards the parking lot. He unlocked his car and I got into the passenger seat, he slid into the drivers seat, and turned the car on. Everything he did made me like him more. He turned and smiled at me, " So where we going?" I asked.
"You'll see." He said with his eyes on the road, but I could see him grinning.
We drove down a little dirt road which led into an open feild. There was a few other cars in the open feild, and I could see some families having picnics, and I could see some people walking along the river side. Jacob got out of the car and I quickly followed. He waited for me as I walked around the car, we started heading through the feild and I felt his hand brush against mine. Butterflies went throughout my body, and a few seconds later, he grabbed my hand.
Jacob's POV:
I really need to get to know her, so I figured taking her someone simple like the river and just walking and talking should break the ice. I didn't want to move too fast with her and make her feel uncomfortable but I couldn't resist holding her hand as we walked. As I grabbed her hand I felt it slip into mine, her skin was soft, and I could instantly tell how much smaller her hand was than mine. As we reached the waters edge I looked at her reading to ask her a million questions.
The second she looked up at me, and her eyes met mine, I was tranced. She had such blue eyes, and her hair was blowing in the wind a little bit, and I could smell hints of her perfume. Unlike other girls, Sarah didn't take a bath in perfume, which I was greatful for.
Still looking up at me, her voice was so light, and her lips moved perfectly, "So" was all she said, but that was enough, I looked out at the river and then back at her.
"Tell me about yourself."
She looked down at the ground, and sighed. "What do you want to know?"
"Everything ." I said, smiling at her.
She looked up at me, " There's not much to tell, I'm pretty boring." Her lips twisted into a bit of a frown, and instantly I wanted to see her smile.
"Were you born in Florida?"
"Yes." She answered.
"Do you liked it here?" I wanted her to say yes, badly.
"Uh, I guess." I could feel her shurgging because I was still holding her hand, and I had no intentions of letting it go.
I continued to ask her little questions about her favorite color, and her favorite food, she asked me a few questions like that too. Still holding her hand, I stopped walking and faced her. She looked up at me, I freed her hand and wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her close to me. I could feel her body pressed against mine and I loved it.
With my other hand I trailed up her body, I brushed her cheek with my hand and leaned in, I could just feel her breath on my face. It was warm, yet cool at the time time, I could feel her tense up a little, she was nervous. I slowly leaned in, I didn't want to scare her, but I was so eager to touch her lips with my own. I felt our lips brush for a second and I crushed my lips against hers, they were soft, and I could feel her kissing me back. Her body pressed against mine, I pulled her even closer to me, if that was possible.
She pulled away and I let her go. She looked up at me and blushed, her cheeks the faintist shade of pink, god she is so damn cute.
I grabbed her hand, and smiled at her.
"Come on." I said, pulling her towards the car. She fell into step with me and we walked in a comfortable silence.
A million throughts were racing through my head, this is the first time I actually kissed her, and I felt good about it. She didn't seem freaked out and there wasn't an awkward silence. I let go of her hand and unlocked the car. I watched her walk around the car towards the passenger side, she slid in gracefully. I got in my seat, and started to drive. I grabbed her hand, and turned for a second to see her smiling.
