Mark opens his eyes and coughs from the heat of the warm blanket. The sun is blinding and burning his face as he pulls the sticky blanket from himself and Ethan. The smaller man groans as he squints up at the bright sky. Looking over towards the other side of the boat Ethan sees Cry already awake and rummaging through the supplies. He is dressed back in his clothes from yesterday, though they still look slightly damp. The larger man with him is still wrapped in the blanket, it hanging off of his waist like an oversized towel as he checks on his pants still drying in the sun.
Jack looks like he has just woken up as well, his dark hair sticking out at odd angles and yawning deeply as he catches eyes with Mark. He smiles at him, managing a small wave.
"Top of the morning to ya," he says in a voice laced in a thicker than usual Irish accent. Mark chuckles, his ears really liking the sound of his voice.
Felix groans in the corner, still covered up and trying to sleep a bit longer.
Mark heads over to Cry and Ken, seeing if he can be of any help. Cry smiles as he reaches them and hands Mark a small container full of bottles of water. Mark's dark eyebrows lift is slight surprise.
"Sorry," Cry says, almost laughing. "I assumed that you were coming over to help. That was kind of rude for me to just - "
"I was," Mark says quickly.
"Oh, all right," says Cry, feeling a bit better. "Ken and I were just starting to go through the supplies to see what we have to work with. Better to know now while we are still all fairly clear headed about things."
Mark nods, and carries the supplies over to the middle of the boat. Jack comes over a few minutes later to help, and Cry gives him a larger box full of rations. Mostly dried cakes and nutritional bars shaped like cookies.
"Not usually what I would serve in my restaurant," Jack mumbles over to Cry, "but I guess that this will do in a pinch."
Cry chuckles as he hands him another box of the same types of food, and stacks it neatly on the bottom box. Jack smiles and heads over to where Mark is sitting with the water bottles to start counting how many of each item that they have.
Ken grumbles as he looks at the state of his shirt, boxers and jeans, still fairly wet. He rubs his bare shoulders, very aware that he will probably sunburn if he doesn't get proper cover soon.
"Kenny, give the sun time to work it's magic," Cry says, rolling his eyes. "In the meantime use those muscles that we all get to see right now and help me lift this other lid. There are probably some other supplies here that we can use."
Felix grunts again at all the noises and pulls the blanket off of himself and finally checks his phone. Still no signal from the last time he checked.
"Stupid fucking cruise," he mumbles.
With a fair amount of effort Ken and Cry lift up the second storage bin, this one filled with more of the cookie shaped foods and some additional water. Both men look at each other, feeling happy about the fact that there is a large amount of food available. Mark and Jack count the amount of bottles of water in the container, also coming to the same relieved conclusion.
"Ethan," Cry calls out to the younger man who is sitting cross legged on the blanket, "How's our patient doing?"
"Oh," he responds, his cheeks going slightly pink, "I haven't checked yet. I'm sorry."
Cry looks over kindly to him. "No apology needed at all. Just check his eyes again to make sure that they still dilate, look over his vitals and then see if he needs his bandage changed. I know that you'll do a great job. Call over if you need my help at all."
