Chapter 8

YOUR POV
Your phone starts buzzing , it's Maria FaceTiming you.
You pick up and say "Hey babes!"
"Omg hiiiii" She laughs "How was it? Tell me now!"
"Oh Maria , he's gorgeous , we both fell asleep on the couch and Mum was completely fine with it the next day!"
"Omg really!" She squeals "Your Mum wasn't even mad?"
"No , she loves him"
"So where is he taking you today then?" She asks.
"To his friend Noah's house." You say.
"Well what are you gonna wear?"
"I don't know will you help me?" You ask , sprinting towards your closet.
"Of course!"
It takes a while but you and Maria both decide on black ripped jeans and a white off the shoulder crop-top. Then , you put your hair in a high pony and do your eyebrows.
"What do you think?" You ask nervously
She gasps "You look gorgeous."

FINN'S POV
You fumble around your pocket for your key and open the door. Your Mum is sat on the couch as you walk in.
"How was sleeping at Noah's?" She asks.
"Great" You say, "I'm actually going to come round again today , I just need a shower."
"Okay , your father and I are going out for the day so you'll have to make your own way there."
"That's fine mum."
You run up the stairs into the hallway and stand outside Nick's room. You're just about to knock when you hear loud music begin to play and decide to just walk in.
"Turn that down!" You shout.
Nick turns round and realises you're standing there , he runs over to the speaker and turns it off.
"Thanks for knocking" He says.
"The music was too loud" You shrug.
"What do you want then?"
"I was wondering if you could drive me and Ebony to Noah's" You ask.
"Yeah that's fine."
"Really?" You laugh "Well that was easy"
"I mean I wanna meet the girl my little brother is dating"
"Woah Nick!" You step backwards "I wouldn't say dating."
"You slept at her house last night though?" He teases.
"Well I don't even know if she likes me back yet" You sigh.
"Then you're gonna have to goddamn find out"
"Easier said than done , man" You moan.
"Stop moaning and get ready" He laughs "I'm taking you in half an hour."

You walk into your room and get a shower , the water is cold and makes you feel more awake. You pick out a pair of black jeans and Navy hoodie.
"This should do" You think and start to hairspray your hair.
You pick up your phone and text Noah...
"Hey Noah , just wanted to let you know Ebony isn't a fan and she doesn't know I was in stranger things. Is it okay if you don't mention anything , I'm trying not to ruin things."
"Sure that's fine Finn , what time you guys gonna be here?" He asks.
"I'm leaving in 5 minutes" you text back.
"Ok"

YOUR POV
"Hey Maria , I've gotta go." You say to Maria.
"Aww why?" She asks.
"Finn's here"
"Ok , have fun!!!' She squeals.
"Thanks , bye"
"Bye" She says.
You throw on your red trench coat and open the door , you walk down the corridor and into the elevator. Once you're inside you press floor 1 and fix your hair in the mirrors surrounding you.
"Floor 1." Says the woman through the intercom and the doors open.
You see Finn standing in the lobby waiting for you , he's wearing black jeans and a navy hoodie and he looks gorgeous.
"Hey" he says pulling you into a hug.
"Hey" You say back.
"The car's this way" He points outside to a black Mercedes Benz.
"Holy shit." You yell catching the attention of a few people "That's your car?"
"Yup" He laughs and opens the backseat door for you.
You sit down on the leather seats and breathe in the smell only a lot of money could buy. You notice an older boy in the drivers seat with short curly hair and a piece of gum in his mouth.
"Hey I'm Nick , Finn's older and more handsome brother" He says to you.
You laugh , "I'm Ebony" , you say.
For the rest of the way there you stare out of the window at the streets of New York. You like this city , you don't wanna leave. Everything you need is here , Finn , Finn and Finn.
You laugh.
"And we have reached our destination" Says Finn , pointing to a large house with a Range Rover out front.
"Thanks Nick" I say.
He smiles , "Anytime".
And with that we leave the car and watch Nick wave as he drives away.
Finn rings the doorbell and a boy with short brown hair and a mixture of emerald and chocolate coloured eyes open the door.
"Hey" he says "I'm Noah".
