A sense of dread came over me. I showed Shannon the message and he called the detective immediately. Me"Shannon I dont even want to go home. I am so scared." S"I know. The detective said they are still trying to track his phone. Maybe by the end of this week they will know more." me"I really hope so." The rest of the week went by fast and I was not ready to go home. I did not want to face reality. When we got home I was constantly paranoid and looking over my shoulder. This could be anyone. A few days passed and nothing happened. I started to relax a little. Shannon had alarms installed so if he did try to break in again we could maybe catch him. I also had pepper spray and a pocket knife everywhere I went. One evening Shannon had to rehearse with his band and asked me to come along. Me"I have some songs to work on. I think I will be fine here." S"Okay. If you need me you can call me." He kissed me and walked out the door. An hour passed and I was in my own world writing and playing piano when I heard a knock on the door. I got a little nervous and tried not to panic. I quietly walked to the front door and looked out the peep hole. Nobody. I went to grab my phone and the doorbell started ringing like crazy. I called the police. When they arrived they looked around and there was no sign of anyone. They made a report and stayed with me until Shannon got home. S"You should have came with me. I am not leaving you here alone anymore." He hugged me and I said " I am not stayng here tonight." We decided to get a hotel room about an hour outside of town. I was so mad that this person was doing this to me. I did nothing to deserve it. We stayed at the hotel and on our way home a car was following us really close. It was a black car with dark tented windows. Shannon sped up and they would speed up too. Me"Shannon, drive to the police station." S"That is what I am trying to do but they are about to hit us." Before we could get there the car slowed down and I was a bit relieved. Maybe we were paranoid. Out of nowhere the car sped up and acted like they were going to go around us. The next thing I knew the car purposely smashed into us making our car flip.
