Chapter 12

I begged Steven to let Shannon go. Me"Please let him go. I promise he did not do anything to deserve this." St"He took you from me." Steven pulled out a gun and said "who wants to go first?" Shannon yelled out "just kill me. Please don't kill her!" Steven aimed the gun at Shannon about to pull the trigger when I jumped on Steven making him miss Shannon shooting the wall. We rolled around on the floor and I was trying to get the gun from him. He was much bigger than me and finally pinned me down and hit me as hard as he could in the face. I acted like I was knocked out. I remembered my phone was lying on the couch. Steven got up and walked out of the room cursing under his breath. I looked at Shannon and I could feel blood pouring out of my nose. I grabbed my phone and dialed 9-1-1. Steven walked in and kicked my phone out of my hand. St"you fucking bitch! I was going to just shoot you and let you die quick. Now you are going to suffer." He pulled out a knife and held it to my throat. Shannon started screaming and struggling to untie himself. Steven stood up and walked over to Shannon kicking him in the chest and driving the knife through his chest. Me"No! Steven no!" I jumped up and started attacking him again. Shannon was moaning loud from the pain. I got Steven on the floor and started punching him as hard as I could. All of my anger was coming out fast. I managed to get the knife out of his hand and held it above him. Me"You are fucking dead!" Just as I was about to stab him the cops busted in and got him. The paramedics rushed in a started working on Shannon. It turns out Steven missed and got him in the shoulder. We were both rushed to the Emergency room and Steven was taken to jail. He admitted to everything. The next morning when Shannon woke up I was by his side. He was still in pain but he was okay. My nose was broken and I had some bruises but I was fine. Me"Good morning." Shannon smiled and said "good morning. I am so proud of you." Me"for what?" S"for everything you did. You were so brave." I kissed him and said "I told you I wasnt going anywhere with out a fight!"
