I knew something was wrong. After Sierra got out of the car I saw that she forgot her phone. By time I realized it SiSi was already in the house. I went to her door and it was cracked open. I looked inside and saw Sierra laying on the floor. Her black hair flowing on the wooden ground. I looked closer and saw blood on the ground coming for her head. I was about to go inside when I heard someone dragging their feet. A man appeared and he had a knife in his hand.

Man: YOU STUPID BITCH!

He was about to stab SiSi until I busted through the door and tackled him into a table with a lamp on it. He dropped the knife out of his hands and I kicked it to the other side of the room. We both got back on our feet but I saw that he was unbalanced. I took this advantage and slammed him to the ground. He grabbed my ankle and pulled me on the ground and got up. He started stomping me repeatedly until he finally stopped.

I looked at him and his eyes widened. He turned around and I saw a piece of glass in his back. He fell to the ground with blood coming out of his mouth. I looked back up to where the man was once standing and saw Sierra. Tears in her eyes and blood running down her forehead from her head. She looked at me then back at the man.

Sierra: Daddy?

I couldn't believe what I just heard. This man was her father? Millions of questions ran through my head. I was staring at Sierra in wonder. Her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she fell to the ground. I quickly rushed over to her. I tried waking her up but she wouldn't budge. I cradled her in my arms while calling 911. Tears filled my eyes and fell onto Sierra. I was scared.

Is she ok? I asked myself hundreds of times. I prayed to God to save her. To keep her safe with me. God knows I love Sierra and if anything were to happen to her my world would crumble down. Soon the police and ambulance came and now here I am at the hospital with Raheem, Lyrik, June, and Taye. June and Lyrik were both crying. I hadn't said anything to them but all they knew was that their best friend was in the hospital beaten. My mom came with Lamar.

TM: Oh my god! Are you alright? *checking my face and body*

Me: Yeah, Ma. *moves her hands*

TM: No your not look at these bruises! Who did this?

Me:.... Sierra's father.

Everyone looked at me with wide eyes and were shocked.

June: M-Mr. Moore?

Lyrik: He couldn't have.

Me: Well he did. He would've to killed her if I wasn't there.

Raheem: Oh my god.

Me: And this ain't the first time. I saw a bruise on her wrist yesterday. Who knows how long he has been beating on her.

Lyrik: *crying* Sierra said he's a alcoholic.

June: I never knew it was that bad tho... *starts crying even harder*

Taye: *comforts June* Where is he?

Me: Dead.

Lamar: W-Wh-What? *starts crying*

I couldn't even say anything else I just took Lamar into my arms. I felt his warm tears seeping through my shirt. I don't know when but tears started rolling down my face. Lamar never likes hearing about someone dying he always cries even if he knows nothing about them. But not me. I can't feel any sympathy for that man. Not after what he did to Sierra.
