Hey guys! I am super excited to write this story! This chapter is a bit long but it's worth it! Vote or leave a nice comment on what you guys thought! I will have many more chapters but for now please enjoy!

Luke's POV:

Luke Jennings. Yep that's me. The star football player for ridgeback senior high school. I have it all. I'm gonna graduate this year but I've decided I wanted to change my career path a little, even though everyone disagrees with it. I don't want to be a football player...I know I'm good at it but it's just not me. Everyone expects me to be some arrogant asshole who has no regards for others. I'm not like that, even though I have become popular and it's nice and all, I'm actually interested in being a psychologist. I'm interested in mental diseases and it's a opportunity to help others! I love helping out people! If you haven't noticed, I'm not a jerk like most of my teammates. I actually participate in school and don't like hurting or teasing anyone....I really don't see a reason to. I'm pretty nice to everyone until I get pressured into bullying people by my peers. My friends Ryan and Eric are absolute assholes to everyone! Even me sometimes...but they've had a new target lately. It's this short little boy with feather brown hair. He's really...skittish and quiet. You never hear him coming at all. I've never seen him before and it's the end of the school year so I'm not sure what he is doing here. But hey, I don't judge. You never know what people have going on in their lives. I don't really acknowledge him much. What happens is none of my business.

I was walking down the halls of the school when I felt a arm sling over my shoulder and a arrogant, obnoxious, loud laugh indicating it was one of my mates.

" lukey buddy! What's up?! ". I rolled my eyes and shoved Eric's arm off my shoulder.

He scoffed but ended up chuckling as he placed a hand on my head and ruffled my hair which messed it all up. I groaned and tried fixing my side swept, blonde hair, back into its place. He propped his arm up on my shoulder as we walked to my classroom. He's honestly more annoying than Ryan. With his short, gingered colored hair and his dorky smile along with his freckles he could dork his way out of murder. He's actually a bit taller then me and leaner. He has the black rimmed glasses and always wears t-shirts and tight skinny jeans. You wouldn't think he'd be part of the football team just by the way he looks but he definitely has the attitude and muscle to back him up.

" party at my house tonight? ". He asked, his eyebrows raising along with his smile as he awaited my answer.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged his arm off my shoulder. I'm not the partying type of person and both Ryan and Eric know that but they always drags me to some lame, overrated, alcohol filled house party. Last time I went to a party with them, they both got wasted and had all their things stolen and I had to drive them home! And on top of that, they both threw up in my car!!. I just stood in the corner watching all the sweaty, ignorant people grind on each other like the world was gonna end so this would be the last time they danced while they got wasted. A lot of the girls hit on me but I'm not into drunk, gold diggers who just want to get laid. I don't date whores, sorry it just isn't me. I sighed as we both approached my classroom, knowing Eric didn't take school seriously and barely knew where half of his classes were.

" don't you have to go to class or something? ". I stopped and turned around to look at him as I approached my home room door.

" yeah, I'm on my way...". He trailed off, stuffing his hands in his pockets as he watched all the other students rush to their classroom. It was a obvious lie he was trying to play out.

" last I checked, your class is all the way down the hall ". I said, crossing my arms over my chest as I looked at him expectingly while raising one eyebrow.
