Luke's POV:

I'm not gonna lie, I am really tempted to stay for Eric's party now. I need to let loosen up some, I stay so up tight about my grades unlike two other people I know. Being on the team is important to me and in order to stay on this team I need some good grades. I guess I've just stressed myself out to much lately. I just have this creeped out feeling like someone is constantly watching me and I'm sure if I just relax a little it'll all go away.

Once the pizzas were done being made, I left the shop and walked cautiously over to my car. I couldn't help but look around in suspicion as I opened my car door and climbed in. I didn't want anyone following, maybe I'm just being paranoid. It's just creepy to suddenly see someone and then they are gone in a blink of a eye. If there was even anyone there to begin with. I'm definitely losing my shit. I'll just stay at the party for a little bit, couldn't hurt right?

When I made it back to Eric's house, I placed the pizzas on the counter and started to head upstairs when I bumped into Eric himself who had went out of his way to look nice apparently, I had a feeling I know who he did it for. He had changed into a black pair of skinny jeans and a regular white long sleeved shirt. I guess he decided to put in a earring since there was a small diamond occupying the small hole in his ear. He never wears earrings, he regretted even getting his ears pierced but the holes never closed back up. Next up was his gold chain which was screaming " I'm trying to hard ". It was big and bulky and ruined the flow of the outfit, but I could care less since he was trying to look nice for my least favorite person. He had his hair slick back with gel and looked nervous beyond belief.

" h-hey Luke! Umm, do y-you know when Amanda is s-suppose to arrive? I kinda forgot". He stuttered as he played with his fingers nervously awaiting my answer. I've actually never seen him this anxious before but that still doesn't help the fact he's getting so worked up over Amanda who doesn't even like him.

" umm, at seven like everyone else? ". I said slowly, looking him up and down before pushing past him. I needed to get upstairs and change my clothes...or at least my shirt. I don't want to ruin the one I'm wearing if anything were to happen. I'm sure Eric won't mind me borrowing something.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me back down to his level as he ran a hand threw his gel coated hair.

" do I look nice? I think I do! Do you think Amanda will like it? Or should I change? I probably should go change? But what if she doesn't like what I change into to? ". He was rambling and I really needed to get upstairs and change before the party started. It was already 6:30.

" umm yeah sure, try it, I don't know ". I muttered as I ran up the rest of the stairs to his room.

" but that didn't answer any of my questions! ". Eric yelled, from the bottoms of the steps. I groaned before turning around and reappearing on the beginning step as I examined him from afar. Should I tell him? I never get to have my opinions so he might just ignore me, but it's worth a shot.

" do you really want my honest opinion? ".

" yes! Please tell me about me! I need to know before Amanda shows up! ". He pleaded, cupping his hands together and getting down on one knee. I rolled my eyes at his dramatic outburst.
