Just a trap

Luke's POV:

I'm not sure why my life took such a dramatic turn but it did. Eric and Ryan are no longer my friends. Eric treats me like one of his victims of bullying, he shoves me into lockers and knocks anything in my hands onto the ground. Ryan just glares and watches from a distance. I got kicked off the football team, apparently coach doesn't want any of his team members to be bullies so that meant Eric was off the team as well. Ryan got to stay though...I'm not as to why. He didn't have as much as to do with the situation but he was still part of it. I hadn't seen Louie for a couple of days now, I thought I saw him this morning but when I walked up to him it...wasn't him. Just his look alike I suppose.

At this point, he's the only person I can hang out with. I didn't get to play the last football game of the year since I was in detention and coach found it necessary to kick me off the team. We have two more weeks of school and so far I went from top of the world to rock bottom in only a couple of days.

I walked into the school with my head down which was a usual routine now so I could avoid Eric. I couldn't help but glance when I caught sight of him. He was kissing Amanda pretty intensely, I swear he was eating her face off. She giggled as he pecked her lips one more time before sending me a glare. Amanda was twirling her hair until she followed the direction of his gaze and rolled her eyes before grabbing him back to begin kissing. He groped and grabbed her as he looked straight at me. I shook my head and kept walking.

Right when I turned a corner, some kid ran straight into me which sent me tumbling down a second time. I groaned as I got back up and slung my back pack over my shoulder. I was pissed at whoever bumped into me until I saw who it was. My frown was immediately replaced with a smile once I saw the small boy Louie.

I helped him up as he blushed and dusted himself off. He gave me a shy smile before looking up at me.

" s-sorry, I wasn't watching w-where I was going ". He bit his lip as he looked away for a moment then looked back up at me with those sparkling yet mysterious green eyes.

" s'alright, I was just look- "

Before I even got to finish my sentence, Eric came around from behind me with his arm around Amanda's shoulder as she clung to it. He was laughing obnoxiously and a crowd began to form.

" faggot and faggot sitting in a tree...". He sang as the crowed erupted with laughs and giggles.

Eric new that I was pansexual. That I didn't care about gender so i would go out with a boy if I liked their personality. I didn't tell him on purpose, he pressured it out of me when I first began the football team. I honestly didn't really know that at the time, I just thought love was love. I didn't want to put a label on who I was or what I am. But that's exactly how society works today. I ended up blushing at the mere fact that everyone probably now new. This town is a very small town so once someone knows...everyone knows. I shook my head before pushing past the crowd and out of the school. I was overwhelmed.

As I exited the school, I noticed Louie had been following me. He had all of his books in one hand as he raced after me. I was almost down my street, since I walk pretty fast, when Louie caught up to me. He sounded horribly out of breath as he wheezed a bit. I was worried for a minute that he had asthma and didn't have his inhaler or something. I was right when I said he had asthma as he pulled out a bright blue inhaler and used it.

When he regained his breath he looked up at me with a small, shy, smile.

" s-sorry, it acts up once in a while ". He said, placing his inhaler back into a safe spot in his bag.
