Well, I'm back! It's been a while since I updated this story! I'm sorry about that! But now I'm ready to focus on it once again! This is a short chapter just to clear up some things and explain some mystery's maybe. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy and don't forget to comment!

Luke's mother POV:

They ended up slightly sedating Luke after he had a panic attack. They didn't want to knock him out cold, scared he'd fall back into a coma. He was resting peacefully as the doctors monitored him. I can't believe he's woken up after so long, maybe he's cured! Maybe I won't have to worry about him as much as I use to even though he has a long road to recovery. I watched as the nurses tirelessly run test on my baby boy. That is, until the doctor approached me.

" may I speak with you, Mrs. Jennings? ". He motioned for me to follow him out to the hall.

I leaned over to plant one last kiss on Luke's cheek before standing up and leaving the room. Once the door was softly shut behind me, I faced the doctor to see his very worried expression.

" uh Mrs. Jennings, I have some news I'd like to inform you about before we proceed with anything ". He started off, glancing down at his clip board.

" is it about Luke? Will he be okay? ". I questioned, fear rising in my chest as I spoke each word.

" yes, he's 100% percent physically healthy..." the doctored smiled before his grin faltered. "just not mentally...". He added.

" what do you mean? Is he still...still like the way he was? Is there damage or what? ". I watched as the doctor sighed before nodding.

" we do believe he still has MPD, his personality disorder probably has become worse now that he has some control ".

" how so? Are you telling me that wasn't my baby Luke in there? ". I asked, looking in the tiny window to see my baby resting still.

" we've established that he has two new personalities, whether that was one or not we do not know. There's one particular one that seems to be fighting against him at this moment. Your sons brain wave activity is more complex then I've ever seen ". The doctor took a breath before looking at his watch. " we will begin test immediately, we've noticed he mumbles different names when he's asleep. The same names he asked us about earlier today. Instead of sleeping, luke may be battling his other personalities as we speak ". He concluded.

" that's a lot to take in...I don't know- is there any way you can help him? I didn't know he could have more then one other personality! He's only had one since he was little...I just want my baby to be okay ". I sobbed, wiping away a couple of tears as I glanced back into the window.

" Mrs. Jennings, we will do all we can to help your son. It seems he does not remember too much, his speech and brain development are right were they are suppose to me. I'm guessing even in his coma he could still hear words or phrases as his brain continued to develop on its own which is why I'm moved to believe that Luke himself was in a coma but not one of his personalities. If anything, Luke should of woke up with a brain capacity of a 5 year old. Instead, he's functioning as his age which also makes me believe that the boy laying in that bed is not your son right as of now. We don't know for sure, but we think Luke himself is not awake...one of his personalities is awake for him and is playing the role of Luke Jennings ".

My mouth hung open in disbelief as I stared at my sons body, my poor baby has no control. Will I ever get to see the real him again? Who is in my sons mind? I want to know, I hate this. I just want my boy back.

" we are going to do everything we can to bring Luke back. We are going to start testing and see where it leads us. Do we have your permission? ".

I looked up at the doctor to see him holding out a clip board with a pen ready for me to sign. I nodded before scribbling my name, he smiled before re-entering the room. He better find my sons true personality or so help me I'll bring this place down.
