Seventh Station

Well woopdy-skippy-frikin-do, this sucks.

      After crying my eyes out, I get up and morph into bat form. I cry my way all the way to my dorm and don't tell anyone why. As I'm sulking to the entrance of the dorm, Mr. Astrid stops me. "Are you ok, Zurie?" I wipe my face and nod, obviously lying. He puts his hand on my shoulder and walks me to a bench and we both sit down. "Zurie, I know you're lying. Tell me, what's wrong?" How am I supposed to tell him?? I can't..I'm going to have to lie again. "My....*sniffle*..my cat died..." He smiles sympathetically and hugs me. "You'll be alright...Hey, where's Alex?" I stare at him...my eyes start filling up with tears again...I pull his hand off my back and run into my room and flop down on the bed and start crying..
                                      ...
     *Knock knock* I wipe my face with my sleeve and take a deep breath. "...Who is it...?" Jesslyn walks in with a teddy bear. Why is she actually being nice? "Hey girl..you alright?" I nod. "It always sucks when a pet dies...I remember when my dog died..." What. The. Crap. "Here girl, I want you to take this." She holds out the bear and I reach out for it. Wow..this is unexpected.  She smiles sweetly at me...and then she SNATCHES it away and starts laughing. I hear her other friends behind her laughing in the hallway. One was recording the whole thing...just when I thought things couldn't get worse....I get up in rage and shove her out the door. "AND NEVER COME BACK!" I finish. I lock the door and sit down on my bed. I stare out the window at the crescent moon and two stars...one was fading...just like me...and Alex...Alex was fading away and I didn't help him....

      I get up and get my backpack and shove some shirts and pants in it, then a drink and a candy bar. I sneak out the dorm and into the woods. By now, it's about 4:15 AM so I have about 6 hours until most people are asleep. I take the secret passage to the Seventh Station to go back to the werewolf territory. I get about midway into the tunnel and see a dark shadow...and another one...and another one...a whole army of them....until I realize...They are werewolves. I'm such an idiot for forgetting that there would be a lot of them on patrol. It only makes sense, since something killed the next-to-be alpha. I morph into bat form yet again and join a colony of bats. I watch the patrols and memorize their formations. As soon as a guard leaves his post I dive down to Luca's den. Wait...where's Alex?? He was just here.....I fly out of Luca's den and rejoin the colony and find a group of werewolves carrying something..I fly up higher and...it's Alex! I get a cold shiver down my spine and tear up a little until I notice him flinch...could he really be alive?? I squeak at him. He opens his eyes slightly and winks at me. I get over joyed. I fly in circles. He's alive, he's alive!! I squeak at him again, "Stay alive Alex, I'm going to go get silver bullets!" He smiles slightly, trying not to get noticed by the werewolves carrying him. I fly as fast I can back to the university and search the entire campus for silver bullets. I found a total of 28. Less than I thought there would be..well I just can't miss anyone...I fly back to the werewolf territory and in the nick of time find Alex before they eat him. In mid-flight I morph and smoothly land and walk closer to them loading the pistol. "HEY TAIL CHASERS!" And of course I get a lot of unwanted but..kinda wanted attention. They start sprinting at me and I kill 3 of them on the spot. One dodges a bullet and jumps on me. Struggling to breathe, I rip a zipper of my backpack (that I'm still wearing) and throw it in its mouth. It gets off of me and falls to the ground. I look down at him, "HA! That's silver!" I turn away and run to Alex. I untie the ropes around his wrists and ankles. "Alex, I am so sorry! I thought you died! So I just left and-" "WATCH OUT!!" He shoves me out of the morphs into a bat, barely escaping death. A big wolf snaps at him and nips at his feet. "Come on!!" I frantically morph and follow him back to the dorms. We fly faster than I think we have ever flown. We reach the dorms and all is well. It's 5 now...but we go to sleep anyways. He goes to the guy dorm and I go to the girl dorm. I make sure I lock the door so stupid Jesslyn doesn't come in, and then I close the window and go to sleep..
