That totally relatable moment when the alpha's son drugs your friend

"Hey buddy, will you not drug the love of my life?" He chuckled. "Too late, doll. He'll wake up. But that'll be after I kill you." I'm sorry what? Did I hear that correctly? He's going to kill me? You know..like...dead?? Well then...this sucks. "You do realize that I can read your thoughts, right?" I scratch my head nervously. "Uhhhhhhhh yeah!" He rolls his eyes and smiles. He takes me to a small den and lets me stay in there. He then leaves and probably goes to get..murder weapons..? I'll just take a nap. Yeah. Wait! Maybe he drugged me too! That's why I'm sleepy! Oh well...I'm still going to sleep.

Luca's POV

Ok good. She's asleep. Dang..why on earth...do I like her? This isn't right! No, I need to alert the authorities..but..I am an authority...I should be fine....

I don't really want to kill her...but if she lives, she'll come back...this is against the laws for any monster! I can't believe myself..

"SIR!"

"Yes?" Ug. Another obnoxious she-wolf flirting with me. "Who's the female vampire in my den?" Oh...that was hers.. "Sorry, ma'am I didn't realize it was yours. For tonight, sleep in Sapphire's den." She nods and finally leaves me alone. Can't she see that I care more about the vampire? Now...what to do with the male....he definitely can't be with the girl...that'd kill me...Oh! He can stay beside the elder's den. They'll keep watch of him.

I trot to my den to morph back to my human form. After I do so, I check on the female vampire.

I walk in to see her changing. "OH MY GOODNESS FORGIVE ME!" She looks at me and winks. What?? Could she possibly like me too..?

"What is your name, Madam?"

"Zurie."

"That's a cute name." I smile at her, trying to look pleasant..or at least kind. She smiles back. "Well you have a cute face *gag*..;3" Oh dear..did she gag because she was lying? Or maybe she's sick! I'll get her medicine to make sure! Yes, yes that is a splendid idea!

~ back to Zurie's POV ~

Mr. Hot Guy runs off somewhere, while I'm just sitting here feeling great to not have been murdered in my sleep. His silver eyes though....that curly platinum hair though...his...HIM though! My lord, I need to make up my mind. Alex..or Luca? I think I'll vote for Alex right now...you know...since he hasn't threatened to kill me...he comes back with a bottle of some kinda drug I'm guessing. "Here, take this." he says. "Why??" I respond shoving the bottle out of the way. "You're sick!" "No I'm not.." "Then why'd you gag??" Ummm definitely not because you're the best looking thing my eyes have ever beheld but you're a werewolf and me liking you is illegal... "I don't know..probably a reflex.." He squeels in excitement..well uh...ok then. "Are you ok?" I ask. "Oh yes I'm fine. I need to show you something. Follow me." Uhhhh ok. I follow him to his private den. Which is massive by the way. "This is my private-" "I know," I say, cutting him off. "Where's Alex? I need to tell him I love him before you kill me." "The truth is, my love, I'm not going to kill you. Or for that matter even hurt you." Well isn't that nice. WAIIIIIIT. He said Alex will wake up after he kills me...but he isn't going to kill me... oh no....ALEX ISN'T WAKING UP! "Calm yourself, Zurie. He will wake up. In about an hour. At exactly 3:33." "Don't you realize that that's the most haunted time of day? 3:33 AM??" "Oh I know. But its not my problem. You are the ones who decided to trespass at 2:00." I roll my eyes. "I was showing him a cool way of getting home!" I hear him mutter under his breath. "Illegally.." "Oh hush! Mr. I-am-a -spoiled-child-and-get-whatever-I-want-including-my-heart!" Oh crap, did that just come out? He smirks and stares at me. I do the same. I mean, how could I not? He's a good looking guy! He morphs into his wolf form and pounces on my stomach. "What are you doing??" I ask trying to escape his grasp. "What I want," he replies. Well this can only end well.

~ 1 hour later ~

(AUTHOR'S NOTE: this is nobody's pov)

Alex wakes up in the middle of the elder's den. "Huh? Where am I..." He looks around. There are wolves patrolling all around him. He morphs into bat form and just as he starts flying, a she-wolf pulls him down by the wing. "Where do you think you're going, Pipsqueak?" Alex was startled. "Where's Zurie??" he demanded. "Oh you mean your friend? She's doing private business with Luca." He gave her a questioning look. "Who's Luca? And what 'private business???'" She sighed. "Luca is the alpha's son. And nobody knows what private business. But they're in his private den and that's all I know." He was getting jealous. "I don't think so!" He flew about ten feet until she got him again. "You know..I am SO tempted to eat you." she said snickering. Alex pleaded. "Please! I want to know she's ok!" The she-wolf was getting annoyed by now. "Listen up, buddy. You'll know if she's ok whenever they get out. Now shut up and go back to the elders' den!" He sighed and morphed back and returned to the den. He flopped down and kept his eyes on the exit of Luca's private den, anxiously waiting for the two of them to walk out.

~ back to Zurie's POV ~

We finally finish our supposed "private business" we walk out. I see that Alex is awake, but I am being forced to follow Luca. "Follow me, darling." He says. "Am I not already doing that?" I retort. "Don't smart mouth me, Zurie. Keep in mind that I still have the power to kill you." I sigh and nod. Might as well freakin add a bow to that too. When we walk past the elders' den Alex and I make eye contact until we literally can't see each other any more. All we want to do is go home..but I highly doubt that's going to happen. We go to his normal den..you know..not the private one. "Ok princess, this is where you'll stay forever and you will not leave. Got it?" My eyes widen. "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?? NO I WONT! IF YOU REALLY EXPECT ME AFTER WHAT JUST HAPPENED IN THE-" he throws me against the wall. The only time I wish he weren't so strong. Because, not gonna lie, it hurts. "OW?!?!" I want to beat him so bad but..I also don't want to get killed. "Now now, that isn't a way to treat an alpha male now, is it?" I look up at him. His tall and bold self. And I say with a cold stare and revenge on my mind, "You will never be like your father!" He gasps and is about to crush me when Alex shoved me out of the way and replaces my body with his. Next thing I know, Luca's massive body is crushing Alex. "GET OFF OF HIM!!" I run and morph into a bat and go at his neck. I suck as much blood as I can, hoping to make him faint. But it just. Won't. Work. "PLEASE!!" Luca refuses. And there's no way I can do anything. I just give up and fall over on Luca's bed and start to cry. I hear Alex coughing..faintly telling me to run...but I can't. I wipe my face and dare to look up at Alex's limp body. I see Luca slowly crawling towards me. "You monster.." I whisper..my voice quivering. "How dare you..."  He pounces on me once again..but this time..not playfully..I allow him..I'm too weak to stop him anyways..so why try? I start being able to not breath. My vision.....is getting blur-blurry....I can't..conce-concentraaate.......

Alex's POV

I see him..her..barely..but I can..my vision is blurry..I can't tell what's going on..but I can tell that Zurie is motionless...I soon realize I have an immense pain in my ankle. I look over and see that it's crushed...but I can't let Zurie die....I slowly get up..limping..I see a bullet..lucky me..it's a silver bullet..Now to find a gun..and fast. FOUND ONE! I limp as fast and as quietly as I can and load it with the one bullet. "HEY!!" I use all of my energy for my yell. But it's worth it. He stops, slowly gets off of her, and stares right at me. "You think you've won, Luca??" He looks at me with his piercingly cold silver eyes. He starts crawling towards me. I shoot. Except...the gun doesn't. It's JAMMED! Are you kidding me?!? I hit the barrel on my palm a few times and reload and aim again. I shoot. ITS STILL NOT WORKING. And LUCA is getting CLOSER!! I reload again. I aim, get ready and he jumps right on me. I drop the gun and it slides across the floor. I'm suffocating...slowly...I can't..reach the..gun!! I see a broom and knock it down...I'm slowly losing...consciousness.......I use the broom....fo-for getting the...uh...the uh.......gun and I..reach it...I slide the...g-gun...a-across the floor...ba-back to m-me...and I grab it...and......I hold it up............and....I.....shoot.....................him...in the...side................

~ 10 minutes later ~

*Zurie regains consciousness*

*GASP* "OMG WHERE AM I??" Oh...wait...I see Luca dead on the floor and...oh no..and Alex...I tear up and walk over to him. "Alex...?" No response. Oh come on Alex, hang in there! "Alex.....wake up buddy...." I wait for a response but I never get one..this isn't real...it can't be... "Alex??" "Alex please!!" ...nothing....I start to cry and I rest my head on his chest. I've..never told him I loved him....and I misused the time for it...now I have no time...
