Rectis looked up in the air for six seconds and gave me the answers. They were both correct. I was fairly impressed. I would give these to you dear reader but I felt like maybe you too, were into riddles so I will let you figure it out by yourself for now. The shy librarian smiled and went on to her duty.

From that moment on, I did not leave my chair until passing out and when I woke up, Rectis had brought a bowl of boiled plants with a glass of wild flower juice along with the following note:

"Dear stranger, within this library, I found you sleeping this morning and I took the liberty to craft a breakfast that you maybe will not be able to consume as I am not used to vegetarian cooking. Very sorry I am if my meal is disliked.

Kind regards, Rectis"

It was far better then expected and I thanked her the best I could when I finally saw her today. I offered helping her out with her chores and she accepted so I did for a few hours in the following days. That also gave us the opportunity to talk as it is difficult to read and talk at the same time slash do both efficiently. I was really happy to be within these walls but every fun thing as an end and mother literally had to drag me outside a week later. It now had been probably two hundred hours since I stopped sleeping once again, just the way as I was used to when back home. I would not eat or do anything other then read, I had the chance to learn about a lot of other writings than the ones she gathered for me, including this very interesting book which gave more detail about Varcuum, the book was called "Misleading dividing". It seems that unlike my mother would like to pretend, he had a very interesting life story (we are talking here of Ogre lord wargod Varcuum). Read it if ever you luckily come upon it...

Then our crew finally had to leave as mother said:

"Hey, it is time to go now little guy, get prepared now, and stop looking at me the way you do eh?"

I grabbed all my stuff and went one last time back to the library to say my good byes but to my greatest surprise, Rectis had a bag with her stuff already prepared when I showed up and she wished to come along with us...

(Rectis with a playful smile): "To learn from real experiences instead of written facts, I want to come alongside you for your quest mister!"

I had learned that both her parents were long dead and she was far from married so she already had gotten to my attention that nothing was holding her in that city anymore, except her library duty. She obviously knew that they could find somebody else to replace her.

We accepted her demand and had a nice ceremony with all the angels on the platform before departure...

That was quite a night I was never going to forget... (Well, by night I mean when people usually sleep, as the blue sun always shines on us here on the inside of the moon, apparently the word night comes from the outside crust, and everything goes dark because the sun is hidden from our eyes).

It was by far the best food I had ever eaten and the sky was striking from this height.

The next morning, we levitated back down to the rest of the guys while Rectis gracefully flew downwards as I saw her for the first time in battle gear, light plated generic mirror set, with the pearl coif she was wearing before.

The guys where happy that we had finally returned, our next destination was Vassymha's castle within her underground capital.

On the way there, we heard this legend about vampiric goddess Mativash the witch from an old hermit ...

But we really are not sure whether she was dead yet or not. We will soon find out that yes, she does still live because we were now taking a detour heading around her kingdom instead of going straight for our primary destination as a lot of people were talking about her now. The only words they had on their lips were that she was a terrifying demon that had killed hundreds... We had decided to go to our first planed destination instead of paying her a visit because we knew we would have to fight the witch and mother felt like I was not ready to fight archdemons yet...

Getting into the capitals of the anciants was quite a hassle as they made us wait outside for hours until they had over a hundred soldiers to escort us to their queen. When we finally got in, I was amazed by how architecturally beautiful this city was, and also the fact that it was all built in a huge cave inside a mountain made it even more impressive. Vassymha was an anciant (it is the name of the race, often mixed up with the word ancient), an elegant humanoid race with black skin color. The items they were using all looked similar material wise, a grey metal carved with runic letters from which blue light would come out of. I then received the explanation that the metal their smith would work on would absorb their emotions as they would hammer it down and the runes would carve them selves in the metal. Mom told me there also was anciants on the outside crust when she had that journey in her early years, but that originally, they all came from here...

They started having problems with abyssal demons hundreds of years ago, and a part of the anciant community at the time left without the intention to return... They thought it was obviously over for them when half of them walked away, but now as I could witness with my eyes, they had a well-established community in here.
