We then left for a place I would never forget. From Dokeb's kingdom to Niumai's, I did not realize how lucky I was to visit such places yet, taking everything for granted. I had no idea all the thing I was going to go through in that quest I had given myself...

To reach Niumai's flying platform (where the mirror angels live), we needed to levitate, because of course, we did not have wings like the creatures living up there. We could not bring everybody, so most of our troops camped underneath until our return. Good thing Theraspy had the power to make a small group levitate, I had to realize that only at that very moment, because without that power, we would have needed to skip this kingdom. We got to the main sky platform (it was actually a group of floating islands with the one in the center about thirteen times bigger than the biggest pieces surrounding it). We were welcomed by a small group of mirror angel soldiers (they can be described by the following attributes: sky blue skin color, white eyes, nice fluffy wings covered in white feathers and hairless on their entire bodies, which was weird to get used to at first, especially on females as they were bald and eyebrow less).

They brought us to the fortress to meet the ruler of the city, the leader of the platoon explained that they got the name mirror angels because they are the only race to work with mirror mineral within Grand grotto as all the remaining mines of this material were on the floating "continent".

The name of the angelic god ruling on this land, as I informed you guys earlier in this book, was Niumai. He explained his life story and I kept pretty much only raw data for my personal notebook as he asked most of everything to not be divulged. He did not mind having the world know about some of the information he gave me about himself such as: He was a single man for a lifetime now and did not have kids, neither does he plan to have any.

He wanted me to meet Leku, his personal smith. It was quite a while to reach the actual forge because we had to go trough a maze for countless hours. I then knew it was impossible to get in or out without someone experienced. Obviously, Niumai knew where to go, so I was not really worried. But honest, it was definitely the last place you wanted to be left without a guide...

No food, no water, nothing, just an infinite maze of illusions. Everything looked the same. It was basically a hallways of mirrors, for days and days...

When I finally got there, Leku the master smith looked at me very seriously and surprised me with a question even before saying hi...

(Leku): "Would you rather defend your mom with a weapon, or a shield?"

Theraspy grinned, and wondered what I was going to answer...

(Myself with confidence): "It does not matter. Because it is me that is keeping an eye on her, not my gear, my will is my strength, and my allies are my life, any of those will do."

He nodded and looked at Niumai, then he looked at Theraspy. We waited for about three minutes and he suddenly took air slowly into his lungs for what seemed to be an eternity... He then brought us in an area where we could sit more comfortably and we started a conversation that lasted for probably two entire days. It was related to a million different matters and most of the time I had to stay silent politely as I had no clue what they were talking about. The request I received after we got tired was to be patient for a moment while master Leku went in the storehouse. I was then awarded "Sharp wind", a unique mirror short sword...

It was a gorgeous piece. He explained the gift was to reward me for impressing him with my patience and my knowledge of life in general.

When I woke up the next day, I had slept for so many hours I felt like I had wasted time. First thing I did was obviously passing by the library of the city to see what they had in store and read about the unknown. I asked if they had books containing information on different gods and demons.

The librarian was a cute angel named Rectis (wearing a light unique decorative pearl chain mail coif and a dress stopping to her knees, unlike all the other angels we had met so far in full mirror plate mails) and the first thing she said when she saw me was:

"Dearly welcomed to this humble library, you are".

After several hours of searching for what I had requested for, she was able to gather a total of a dozen books and she handed them to me with the following words:

"There you go mister, please feel free to come see me again if anything you need."

She had quite a curious way of speaking because the other angels did not talk backwards. I found that rather appealing.

I started reading and she passed a few meters from me two hours later as she was dusting shelves and I asked her over to my table:

(Myself): "I have a riddle for you, I thought you might find amusement in that since you seem of the literary type."

(Rectis slightly nodding): "Mhhhh, please. And yes I would be the literary type. No lifed reading forever, I have. If I can admit it humbly that is."

(Myself asking recklessly): "A wood elf, was slain. The jade man claims the dark elf is guilty. The dark elf says the metal templar did it. The order protector swears he did not kill the wood elf. The metal templar says the dark elf is lying. If only one of these speaks the truth, who killed the wood elf and who is saying the truth?"
