Tiger and I returned to our garden, and went inside for some food and water. Our owners were eating dinner, and we went outside, knowing we aren't allowed around the table while they're eating. We sat on the wall, when a white, light brown spotted cat joined us; it was Spots. 'And? How was it in the forest?! Did you see wild cats?! Did you catch something?! Did you get lost?!' He asked, jumping around, and almost falling off the wall. I giggled. 'Easy! I can't answer 10.000 questions at once!' Tiger laughed. 'But how was it out there? fun?' Spots asked, still excited. 'Well, I tried to hunt a mouse, but fai-' he started. 'It wasn't a mouse you idiot! It was a vole.' I corrected him. 'Yeah yeah, whatever. But, I failed, and the next moment I see faith on the back of a tom, who rolled to get her off. And then he got her off, and attacked her, but she was like: nope! And she stepped aside, and he got up again, and leaped at her again, but she still was like: nope! And bit him in his hind leg, making him run off limping!' Tiger said, trying to recreate it on his own. Iaughed. 'Did you actually fight a rogue?!' Spots asked me. 'Not only that! She also smelled cats coming before they appeared! I couldn't smell anything, but she did! And even they were amazed of how she fought! ...I still don't like that they called us kittypets though...' he looked away, frowning. 'Kittypets?' Spots asked. 'Do you guys know anything at all?! Kittypets is what they call us pets. They also call humans twolegs.' I explained. 'Speaking of humans, I better annoy mine! She barely has attention for me...' Spots leaped down, going through his cat flap. 'But you were very brave out there! How did you do that?!' Tiger asked me. 'Just my instincts...' I answered. When I stopped talking, we heard Spots pawing against his cat flap. We laughed. 'Good ol' Spots trying to get attention...' Tiger grinned. We heard a shout, and Spots stopped. 'We'd better get inside...' I said, trying not to laugh. We headed inside.

The next morning, I caught a small rabbit wandering right outside our garden. I headed to Wishbone; I needed some answers. 'You look troubled, young one.' He said, as I arrived. 'Well, I saved Tiger from a rogue yesterday, and then two clan cats walked up to us, and asked where I learned to find. But I never actually learned to fight...' I explained. 'I already thought you had it in you when you brought me that squirrel yesterday. Now my suspicions have been confirmed...' he replied. 'What do you mean, Wishbone?' I looked at him with big eyes. He looked away. I walked back into his view: 'you have to tell me!' I said. 'Well, kit, seeing your father was a shadowclan warrior, I think you took over... his warrior blood.' He explained. I looked at him. 'Warrior blood?' I asked. 'It's not literally warrior blood, it's just that you have the heart of a warrior; you can survive in the wild, as part of one of the clans. You got that fiery determination to protect, and you can also hunt. Your instincts from yesterday, came straight from your warrior heart.' He explained. My eyes widened. 'So if I want, I could join a clan?' I asked. He shook his head: 'no. No one can just join a clan. You have to be invited by a leader. And they don't like kittypets.' He stated. 'But I'm not a kittypet!' I said. 'Yes, you are. But you're not just a kittypet; you're one with a warrior heart. Also known as warrior blood. But you don't see that from the outside. You have to get to know a cat before deciding if it has warrior blood.' He explained. 'I'm gonna join a clan!' I stated. 'Like I said, you can't just join a clan, kit. Aren't you happy with your twolegs, who give you food for free?' He replied. 'I know. But no, I'm not happy as a kittypet. There's nothing to do. Only sleep and eat. I want to fight and hunt to survive, and I want to be part of a clan and protect them with my life. Not with these stupid twolegs who want you to sharpen your claws on a stupid pole!' I said. 'Thanks Wishbone! I'm heading into the forest!' I continued, while running off. I had warrior blood.
