I woke up to the sound of my alarm feeling tired and with a slight headache. My Ipod had fallen off the bed and was completely dead when I picked it up. I hauled myself out of bed and put on something warm as I made my way down stairs.
Lou had set out some ceral and milk for me. I walked around to my mothers room and slowly opened the door.
She layed peacfully on her bed awake. My mother stared at Lou as she fiddled with something in front of her. I walked in and sat next to Lou who had tub of soft baby food in her hands.
"Good morning Lexi."
"Morning Lou. Goodmorning mum." I smiled up at her gripping hold of her hand. She smiled back softly holding onto my hands.
Beside me, Lou struggled to open the jar of food. I reached over and took the jar opening it for her.
"Violet you have one lovely daughter you know" I blushed and looked up to see my mother smiling down at me.
"You better go get ready for school sweetheart" Lou looked at me smiling.
I got up and hugged both Lou and my mum before leaving.
