A Summer To Remember

a tear went down my mothers face as i got on the bus for dance camp for the whole summer. i don't know why she was so worried about me, i'm almost 21 years old and she still treats me like i'm 12.  i waved good bye and blew her kiss. now, problem. finding a spot on this massive bus. i don't want to sit next to any 'freaks' or gross people. so i sat at the back by myself with my bag on the seat next to me. 

"ahh.. this summer should be good.." i smiled as i looked out the window cruizing along past the beach. i love to dance, this might just be the best summer ever! even though i will miss out on the parties, the drinking, the boys, my friends, the late nights on the beach..

BOOM. we came to a stop. no way we are already here.. i thought. those 2 hours flew by. as i got off the bus, i caught eyes with the most beautiful boy i have ever seen. i didn't know his name, but boy, he was amazing. 

"hi!"...... "hello?' ....... "HEEELLOOO?" said a girl standing in front of me. oh gosh, i must have been staring.. "sorry! hello!"

"its okay! who you staring at, girl?" 

"that boy." i pointed over to the tall, tanned boy with the beautiful smile.

"samson? samson smith? you must be kidding me!"

"you're joking right? he's.... gorgeous."

"haha i'm not into him like that, he's like my brother. my best friend actually!" the girl smiled. "oh how rude of me! i'm rebekah! whats your name?"

"my name is sienna! nice to meet you bek! do you mind if i call you that?"

"nice to meet you too! nah nah, its fine! that's what everyone calls me!"

"what number is your room?" i asked as we picked up out suitcases and started to walk towards the cabins.

"room 21!"

"oh my gosh same!"

"looks like we're cabin buddies!" she smiled.

we waddled over to the cabins, being so small, i kept dropping my suitcase and almost falling over..

"need some help?" i look up at see another beautiful boy staring back smiling. i don't answer.  "are you going to answer or just stare hahaha?" 

"oh sorry, i had something... in my ear.." i'm a terrible liar. he laughed. "want me to carry your suitcase?"

"um, sure. if you can handle it. i have alot of things in there." he lifts it up within a second above his head.

"heavy my ass" he says. we start to walk. rebekah is already in the cabin getting ready for the welcoming party. "i'm lenny pearce. what's your name?"

"i'm sienna.. hmm.. lenny..."

"hahaha hi sienna" he turns his head and smiles at me. this boy is pretty cute. not gonna lie.

"room 21?" he questions.

"yup!"

"haha you're joking right! i'm room 24! right across from you!"

"looks like we will be seeing alot of each other then.."  i laugh. "see you at the welcoming party!"

i walk into the cabin and i get attacked by rebekah. "WHO WERE YOU JUST TALKING TO." she demands.

"some guy named lenny pearce?"

"omg you are such a newbie. THAT IS LENNY-FREAKEN-PEARCE. he is in justice crew with samson, your 'beautiful boy' aka my best friend."

"justice crew? they won agt in 2010 didn't they?"

"yep! and you were just talking to one of them!" i didn't answer.. i just start to gaze away.. "anyway, let's get ready for the party!"

i pull out my high waisted shorts and my floral bow crop top. i always loved this combination because it goes with my tanned skin. i put on my gladiators, then curled my long, blonde hair. for my makeup i just put some mascara and eye liner on. i never wear heavy makeup. 

i walk out the door with rebekah and suddenly, everything feels like it's in slow motion.. samson walks over to me. well, i thought for me. but it was just for bek. "AAYYEEE BEKA-DEKA!"

"AYEE SAMMY O'GEE!" they hug as i stand there really awkward. "OH! and this is my friend sienna!" she nudges me towards him. "h-h-h-hi." i stutter. 

"yo sienna! has anyone ever told you that you're really short?"

"yes. i get told that all the time.." i smile so i don't sound rude.

"i could just pick you up and squeeze you!" he says.

i wish... i think to myself.

he dances away to some other boys, i see lenny there, so i assume he was with the justice crew boys. they are all so attractive i think to myself. they have girls with them too. wow. they are so beautiful. they all had girls under their arms except lenny and samson. lenny notices that rebekah and i are behind them and he walks over to us. "hey sienna and... umm, sienna's friend?" 

"it's rebekah" she smiles.

"hi rebekah!" 

"you excited for the party?!" he exclaims.

"yes! eeeeep! can't wait to meet everyone! i smile.

"well, see you in there!" he dances away to the boys as they enter the large room with neon lights and loud music. tonight is going to be great.
