A Summer To Remember

Chapter 2

i walked into the party, wow it was going off. even though it was a dance camp, and we are all meant to be good dancers, all i could see was drunk dancing and people grinding on each other.

rebekah ditched me.. she ran off to some other boys and a few girls, they were all talking and laughing so i decided to go off by myself and find lenny. 

i've been walking around aimlessly for probably about an hour now, until someone grabs my arm.

"SIENNA!" he yells.

oh god he's drunk. "len!" i smile.

"how are you already so drunk? this thing only started like an hour ago?!" i ask him.

"oh i know how to party girl." 

"oh god.." i laugh at his drunkness, he's hilarious!

as lenny and i talk the night away, this chick comes up. "len? where have you been! i've been looking for you all night!"

"i've been sitting here drinking and talking with her!" he points to me.

"oh. hi!" she waves to me.

"sienna, this is nikita. nikita, this is sienna!"

she sits down with us and we all talk and drink for a while. 

about half an hour later she get's up, "so sorry, i'd love to stay but angela, emman's girlfriend, texted me that she wants me to come see her!" after she leaves, i ask len awkwardly, "who is nikita?" he gives me a strange look. "i mean like, who is she in your life? like a girlfriend... friend.. sister... cousin even?" 

he starts laughing, "she's my best friend. we dated once, but that's over now!"

"oh okay, she's really nice. how long were you together for?"

"about a year, a great year that was. sometimes i miss being together, but everything happens for a reason."

"inspirational words, my friend.... who broke it off? sorry for all these questions.."

"she did. she said she thought things didn't feel right.." he kinda gave a sad look.

"hey, sorry if i'm bringing sad memories up. let's change the subject...."

"do you wanna dance?" he says after taking a shot.

"sure, why not."

we got up and the song changed to how to love by lil' wayne, "i love this song!" i smile. he puts his his hands on my waist. we start to sway. he didn't really say anything to me, he just stared into my eyes. we just stared while that song played. i wonder if that song applied to him? if he could relate? i'm not sure. but i know for a fact that i could relate to the song. i've never had a proper boyfriend. i have never had anyone love me, truly. but while swaying to this song with lenny, made me feel loved. he was smiling with his eyes. gosh i love those eyes. before i knew it, the song was over. and so was the party. 

he looked at me and smiled as he took his hands off my waist. "tonight was fun" he said as we walked out of the hall. we walked to our cabins, "goodnight." he kissed me on my forehead just before i went inside my cabin.  "goodnight len.." i went inside and felt like melting.

i have no idea who i have feelings for now. samson is just gorgeous, but he has no idea about me. and lenny is just.. wow.  i have no idea what to do..
