A Summer To Remember

Chapter 10

~SIENNA'S POV~

I woke up smiling. Things are getting better now. I had Lenny's arms wrapped around my body. He held me ever so tightly. He yawned and let go of me. "Morning beautiful." he kissed me on my nose.

"Good morning." It was a beautiful Sunday morning and on the weekends we are allowed to leave the campus. But we have to be back by 11:59pm. Stupid, I know.

"Let's do something today. You know, like a first date type thing." He said pushing the hair out of my face.

"Let's go to the beach."

"Okay." he smiled.

 I stood up and went for my suitcase. I turned around, "I need my privacy!" I joked.

"Okay, okay. I'll go back to my cabin and get changed." He left the room.

"SIENNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAA!" someone screeched.

"WHO'S THERE?!" I grabbed my pillow and held it in front of me.

"It's Rebekah, you idiot. I live here too.."

"You scared me, okay. Don't do that again. Oh my god," I put the pillow down. "Were you here all night? When did you get here?"

"I came in just past 4am. You and Len were fast asleep." I gazed away. "What's going on between you guys?"

"We are officially dating!" I chirped.

"Well that's great! Now you can help me!"

"With what? Samson?"

"Yeah. I'm just scared I'm going to ruin our friendship."

"Well, I'm going to the beach today with Len, I'll see if the JC boys are coming as well and if they are, I'll talk to Samson." She smiled at me.

"Thankyou Sienna. You are a life saver!" She hugged me then went back to sleep.

I put on my blue bikini then a baggy tie-dyed top that went down to my mid-thighs. Yay beach time! I walked out of the cabin to see Len standing there in his watermelon boardies and no shirt. "Is it okay if the JC boys come too?" He gave a weak smile.

"Of course they can!"

"Can they bring their girlfriends?"

"Sure."

We started walking towards the beach. Lenny and I held hands the whole way. The JC boys held hands with their girls. Paulie and Payten, John and Mylinh, Solo and Sammie, Emman and Angela, Lukas and Evelyn and Samson with no one. Felt bad for the boy. The only one in the crew with no girl? That's sad. "I'll be back." I whispered to Len. I ran over to Samson.

"Hey Sammy! Looking a bit lonely over here, what's going on with the ladies?"

"Ahhhh." He sighed and stopped walking. "There's this girl."

"Wait, hold on," I turned around to the crew and girls. "Keep walking guys, we'll meet you there." I turned back to Samson. "Continue."

"Anyway, there's this girl. I've been into her for a couple of years now. But I think she only looks at me as a friend."

"What's her name?"

"If I tell you, please promise me you won't tell?"

"Promise."

"It's Rebekah. I'm crazy over her!"

"Are you serious!"

"Yes. I can't stop thinking about her."

"Well. Good news for you buddy," I leaned in closer and patted him on his shoulder. "She likes you too." I whispered in his ear. I ran back over to everyone who was already at the beach. I planted myself in the sand. I stood just before the waves touched your toes. I looked up at the sun with my eyes closed and felt so relaxed.

Well, until Lenny swooped me off my feet and dunked me in the water. Other than that, it was a really good day.
