A Summer To Remember

Chapter 9

~LENNY'S POV~

The music is pounding. My heart is racing. Could this be the night everything changes? I will not wuss out. I am feeling good. I have a good feeling. There she is. Sienna. Dancing like there is no tomorrow. Her blonde hair sways as she shakes her hips side to side. I'm marching up to her then.. boom. Someone grabs my head and kisses me. Sienna turns around just as someone grabbed my head. I try to pull her off but she has me in the tightest grip. Once she releases I realize who it is. Amanda. I look over to Sienna who's face went from smiles to a frown. She is shocked. As am I. She stands there with her open jaw. I ran over to her, but I'm too late. She already is gone within seconds. I guess she really did care?

I turn around and look at Amanda. "Look what you've done. You think you can just waltz up here and just do what you please?"

"What do you mean?"

"I like Sienna. Now everything is ruined."

"Lenny, please! I had no idea! I'm sorry!" I walk away shaking my head. Tonight has been a disaster. I thought it was going to end with kisses and cuddles. But no. It ended with tears and anger.

~SIENNA'S POV~

When she kissed him. I felt so jealous. We aren't even an item. These feelings are confusing me. AKSJHFA. I just want to go home. I am hating this place. I'm not learning anything. I'm just getting my heart broken. I want my life back. I want my friends back. I want my mum back. I want to go back where everything was better.

As I sit here in my cabin and sob, I realize something. Amanda had no idea about whatever Lenny and I had going on. She is probably feeling horrible. Or maybe smug about it. I have no idea who she is.. But I'm going to go talk to her. But before I could even leave my cabin, Amanda walks in.

"SIENNA. OH MY GOD. I AM SO SORRY. PLEASE. I BEG. I HAD NO IDEA." she sits on my bed and puts her face in her hands.

"It's okay. You're only new. You had no idea. I don't blame you, he is attractive. I get it."

"If you don't mind me asking, are you dating?"

"I'm not sure. I don't think so. UGH," I fall backwards onto the bed. "I don't know whats going on between us.."

"Sienna, once again. I'm so sorry. I feel horrible."

"Don't worry about it. We aren't even dating." Amanda gives me a weak smile as she leaves the cabin.

It's been about 30 minutes since the, hm.. lt's call it 'incident'. I just finished fixing up my makeup. And weee. The door swings open and Lenny bursts through the door.

"Sienna!" he hugs me. I don't want to hug him. But I do. So I just stand there with my hands by my side. "I didn't kiss her, she kissed me. I don't like her. Please understand!" I stand there and say nothing. I just look at him. We stare in silence. My heart is pounding. I feel as if I'm about to explode. I stare into his big brown eyes. He stares back. His face is so concerned. His eyebrows are crossed. Lips are pouting. But as we stare, I finally have figured out how I feel about him.

I love him.

I think he realized it too. His pout turned into a smile and his eyebrows rose. I jumped into his arms. Still in silence. He held me so tight. Like I could die in his arms. He released me.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes. Just as long as you don't go along and kiss other girlies!" I give a weak smile.

"THAT WAS ONE TIME OKAY!" I giggle. The rest of the night was great. We stayed up until 3am talking and giggling. Learning about each others lives before we met.
