When I woke up in the morning we were both in the back seat, I was wrapped in his arms and could smell the sweet sensation of his cologne. I took a deep breath wanting to take in as much as possible. I must have woke him up because he starting turning. He opened his eyes an looked kind of shocked. It didn't last Lon though. "Did we" he started to say. I just smiled and said "I think we did."
We sat up and I just stared at him. I sat in his arms with my head on his chest for a good ten minutes. Then I realized, I don't even know him. I tried to remember everything from last night. Exactly how did this happen? I tried replaying the night in my head.
I know that we were talking about Tessa and he asked me about my boyfriend and he dumbfounded when I told him I didn't have one. After that all I can remember is his sweet rough lips on my soft ones. The way our mouths moved in unison, the way his tongue gently made his way into my mouth. His kisses were like heaven, so sweet and innocent. I could remember the way he slightly touched my back and laid me down in the backseat. The way my legs automatically wrapped around his, pulling him closer. The way I felt when we had to break each kiss to pull our shirts off. All I could remember was how I felt when he breathing into my ear, sliding his hand up my back to unhook my bra. The way he made me arch my back out of pure pleasure.
But that's not what I was trying to remember. "what was I trying to remember?" I thought to myself. "Did we use a condom?" I asked. He seemed a little worried. "No," he pulled away from me. "I thought you were on the pill." he started to panic. "don't worry, I can't get pregnant from having sex one time." he reached on the floorboard and put his shirt back on over his head. "we should probably head out." I node my head in agreement and we both exited the back seat an returned to our seats in the front.
After a long awkward silence, Carter finally said "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I just couldn't help myself last night. The way the moon was hitting her face, it just lit up your personality. You were too gorgeous." he sounded a little ashamed. "it's ok." I said. "I wanted you too" I finished. He looked at me and smiled. If I didn't know any better, I would think that I was starting to fall in love with him. "that's crazy. I've only known him fir a couple if days." I thought."we should get there today." Carter broke my thoughts. "We were only a little under 12 hours when we stopped last night." "Ok great." I said trying to sound excited. It was hard though. I couldn't help thinking about the fact that when we get there, I'm going to be alone again. "are you hungry?" he asked. I then remembered I haven't eaten in awhile. "yeah, is there anywhereto stop?" "I'm sure Teresa is somewhere soon."
We drove for almost an hour before findin somewhere. We decided to just stop at Taco Bell and fill up there. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I took my first bite. After that I pretty much enhaled my food. "you weren't joking when you said you were hungry." he said with a chuckle. "yeh sorry I didn't know how hungry I was until I actually ate." I laughed. "I'm glad we decided to just go there. That way I could continue to drive and eat at the same time. Saves the time and gets you to your friend's faster." I couldn't bu feel sad when he said this. "does he not want me be with him anymore? Is he ashamed of me? Of what we did?" I thought. "yeah, me too." I answered him trying to sound sad. Carter turned on the radio and blared it. "probably so he doesn't have to talk to me anymore." I took it as a sign and took a nap.
"Hey wake up." I felt Carter shaking me. I opened my eyes and looked at him. "were in Paradise." great now I have tonpick a house. "just keep going I'll tell you directions." I mumbled. I took a longer nap than expected and wasted all the remaining time with him. "Ok. Sounds like a plan." he said with a smile.
I realized I had to tell him to turn eventually and found a little street that looked decent. "turn here." I said casually. "here on Elliot?" he asked. "yeah were gonna make another turn soon." "ok thanks for the warning." "right here." he didn't even asked me this time, he just started turned. "now to find a house.." I thought. "it's coming up. The one two up from where we are." he pulled over at a house. "alright there you are Megan." he said as he parked the car. I didn't know how I felt about this. "thanks I unbuckled my seatbealt and opened the door. "wait." I wa startled. "here's my number Inc ase you ever need anything." he sai as he slipped me a piece of paper. "thanksni said with a smile as I shut the door and started walking up the driveway. I saw him start the car and turn around. "he's already going on as if I never even knew him." I said to myself.
I walked the perimeter of the house until I got to the back. "God I hope nobody is here." I said under my breath.
"Hey!" I heard footsteps. "what are you doing?!" they were getting closer. I panicked. "what am I supposed to do now?" I asked myself. I made a break for it and ran. I jumped the gate surrounding the back yard and just ran. The footsteps were still chasing me. I know if someone is chasing you you're not supposed to look back but I couldn't help myself. I turned around.
