Meanwhile back at Helper Bots, Inc., Jason was working on ideas for robots, Mike and Pete were playing video games on the computer, JeeVee was giving the two of them pointers, and Cleanie was trying to kill some roaches it found living behind a potted plant. Things were going alright, until suddenly they heard a huge crash.
A giant, octopus-like robot has burst through the entrance closest to where Jason was, and the other interns were trying to take it down. They didn't know where it came from or why it was here, but they tried attacking it with plasma guns that the facility supplied them with in case of intruders. Jason went out to help the other interns, but Mike and Pete stayed in the room because they were in the middle of a huge battle in their game.
The octopus robot suddenly noticed Jason, and then grabbed him. He tried shooting it with his plasma gun, but it deflected most of the shots with one of its other tentacles. The octopus robot started to head out the way it came in, but then it suddenly got shot clean through the head, and then collapsed. Jason freed himself from the octopus robot's dead grasp, and then saw the one who saved his life. It was a beautiful girl. Jason almost instantly fell in love with her, and thanked her for saving him. Then the girl said, "No problem. The name's Beatrice by the way." She then walked back to the workroom she was assigned to.
Jason couldn't stop thinking about Beatrice, he had found the love of his life. Unfortunately, he was just standing still in the hallway, and then Mike and Pete snuck up behind him and then Mike said, "Looks like you got a crush, dude!" "What?! No, I don't! Jason said, blushing. "Hey, I thought you were playing that video game!" "We got JeeVee and Cleanie to take our spots while we tease you about your new crush." Pete said. Jason punched Pete in the arm, and then went back to the workroom. He said as he walked back, "Maybe the next robot we design can be a robot that can make you two shut up."
